The food was fabulous and the restaurant is adorable and artsy with good vibes. We sat on the patio and it was just perfect. Lauren was our server and she was funny and informative and very efficient. An absolutely perfect lunch!!

One of the nice things about dinner for two at Colterra in Niwot is the drive to the restaurant, but that's just the beginning. For a birthday celebration last year, a friend joined me for a repast of Lobster Risotto for her and 7-hour braised Lamb Shank for me. Both the food and the company (an important element) were so... This little gem set in small-town Niwot is the perfect romantic setting for a wonderful farm-to-table fresh gourmet meal. The owner also owns Salt in Boulder and the food in each is impeccable. Their outdoor patio set among very mature cottonwood trees has got to be one of the best outdoor dining spaces in Colorado. The inside too, is quaint... More

This is the fourth time we"ve eaten here. Each time before we had local produce crafted into perfect dinners. This time both my husband and I thought our food was masked in butter or oil. I had a frittata with sun dried tomatoes and he had shrimp omelet . It was ok but for the price it should be exquisite!... More

We had a most lovely lunch yesterday at this great restaurant. CHEF MICHAEL is far and away the very best CHEF in Colorado. He and his staff are the most professional and dedicated I know. They use only the finest seafood. meats, duck, salads from location grown greens, and other choices..I had the TUNA salad, and it was one of... More

Stopped here for happy hour. The happy hour drinks were itty bitty. We ordered roasted beets, a pesto veggie bread, duck liver pate, and a dessert "bite". The roasted beets were tasty. The pesto bread was average. We were informed that the duck liver pate was actually chicken liver so we declined to eat that. The $3 dessert bite was... More

I have been here a couple of times with friends and decided to take my husband on our anniversary this past October. This drive is about 40 minutes from our house, so it has to be good! We absolutely loved the seasonal veggie appetizer- we still talk about it! Just so amazing and tasty. I think it's a wonderful restaurant... More

We just had a great New Zealand wine dinner here and it was a wonderful evening. We have eaten there many times and the for and service is always top notch. The outdoor eating area is wonderful for lunch of brunch and their monthly wine dinners are a fun way to try new wines and cleaver tastings. Bradford and his... More

I came to this restaurant to celebrate my parent's 50th and we had a great time. Food and drinks are wonderful, but can be a bit pricey. I came back recently with a friend for the Happy Hour, where you can sample lots of tastes for about $5 each. What a great discovery. Will come back for the patio when... More

Enjoyed my dinner. Seating was imperfect but they were remodeling a large section of the restaurant, so understandable. Would have preferred local wines on the wine menu. My friend, who lives in Niwot, goes here often. One of her favorites. Soup was EXCELLENT.
