Never disappoints!

We go here regularly when we want to have a special meal. Very nice menu with selections you won't find elsewhere. The beet salad and Ahi Tuna are my go to meal.

Having eaten and traveled all over Colorado, living in Aspen, Denver, Boulder County, I can now truly say COLTERRA is finest restaurant in Colorado. This small restaurant in Niwot (Boulder County) Colorado is in my opinion the very best Colorado has to offer. Their Executive Chef Michael Drazsnzak is one of the best I have experienced almost anywhere. And I... More

We were a group of ten so had made reservations for a private room in the front building. Everything was perfect. OK the single bathroom in that building is a little cramped, to say the least, but it worked. Lovely cheese trays were presented while we were standing and chatting, then we ordered from the menu at lunchtime. Every plate... More

This is an experience. Lovely setting, nice room, nice wine menu, few but broad options on the menu. Very good service and outstanding, beautifully presented salads and entrees. For me the lamb served two ways was an eye (and palate) opener. The braised lamb cannellloni was a delicious surprise. If you are in Longmont and want fine dining - go... More

By all means one of the BEST restaurants in the area, I have been here many times, for a Florida guy. Today for Sunday Brunch it was Local Berkshire Sausage Frittata with local chard, roasted local mushrooms, San marzano tomatoes, Fresh mozzarella and roasted sliced potatoes. The food and service is always good here. This is a "destination restaurant".

Four of us had a delicious lunch with locally sourced ingredients. The servers were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We liked the location - in a small town with a delightfully old-fashioned flair. Soup, sandwiches and entrees were well prepared and lovely to look at. The meals can be a bit expensive, so dining there should be an experience and not... More

I am so pissed,, i had looked forward to a nice dinner to cap off the year and celebrate a little. However i had a tasteless dinner and the obsequious waiter never even asked how i liked the dinner. I had a "Bouillabaisse" which consisted of a tasteless broth, lots of tiny potato cubes, some red crap floating around and... More

Such a lovely restaurant in Niwot. We were a group of five and we were given a private table. The food was lovely, exquisite at times, the restaurant has a homey, warm feeling, drinks were good as well. Service, spotless! Really good place for a business dinner!

We had scheduled our company dinner party at Colterra, but found there had been a problem with the booking and we did not receive the private room we thought we reserved. I was not happy, but the managers went above and beyond to find us another make-shift room that was wonderful. The food could not have been better and most... More

Food is high quality, tasty and nicely presented. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the menu is somewhat limited and they have shortened the wine list which was a strong point. Regardless, I will still continue to comeback!
