Whistler's is clean and friendly, and you'll get just what you ordered. It's got a little Nederland edge in decor and clientele, but don't expect a rich hippie omelet or homemade bread. Whister's food is standard breakfast, burgers, and sandwiches which could be what you want.

We visited Whistler's Café on the recommendation of family & friends. It is typically an old fashioned breakfast café but is thoroughly modern. Our young waitress could use a little polish in her people skills, but she certainly tried to make us happy. The kitchen is visible from the dining room and the young cook did a nice job with... The food was basic pub food, and a good size portion. The burgers have a great outdoor grilled flavor. They have new management (owners) and just added a nighttime menu. It has real dinners, like Cordon Blue?! which I would not order here. Their lunch/dinner menu times overlap, so you have a big menu to chose from (but breakfast ends at... More

We stopped here for breakfast while passing through town. The food was good and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable for a family with young kids. Our kids said that their pancakes (complete with smiley faces) were "the best", and declared that they wanted to eat there every day.

Waited over and hour for food that was marginal. Not kidding friendly or dog friendly. Too much to go into about the experience with one of the waitresses, but it was ugly. Now I know why all the other restaurants were busy except this one, they only survive off overflow. This is not New York city people but a town... More

On our way to Estes Park, I wanted to do part of the peak to peak drive, so started in Nederland. Had planned to go the the New Moon Cafe for a quick bite. After waiting in Line for a while, was told it would take 30-40 minutes to get our sandwiches . Made the decision to try next door....... More

Food OK and the deck was warm and sunny. Seems very un-Ned like to ban dogs. Service was good and friendly. Bummed about no dogs

If your hungry do not eat here! We were asked to wait 5 minutes.... 15 minutes later we were seated in a near empty restaurant. When the waitress ask us for drinks we answered we were ready to order having sat outside for 15 minutes and she informed us she was not ready to take our order. 45!!!! Minutes after... More

Ate breakfast there on 4/19/2015 (Sunday). The place has done a total 180. Really clean. Fast, friendly service. I had an egg white omelette with veggies. Veggies were fresh, hand chopped (not pre packaged). Can't believe how they have cleaned this place up and how good the food was; really impressed me. Oh, and the muffins!!! Locally made and wonderful.... More
