We were doing the Peak To Peak Scenic Byway and decided that we needed "second breakfast" when we got to Nederland. On a whim we chose Whistler's Cafe. Went inside and it was a little buggy with black flies (although, by far not the worst we saw on this vacation!), so we sat on the patio. Ironically there were no... More

If you want to wait an hour for your meal and be bitten by flies meanwhile, eat here. Terrible experience, okay food, mediocre service. Something is wrong in the kitchen. Can't believe this place stays open in a tourist town.

What can I say, the food, service and atmosphere we just ok. It was a little strange seeing all of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds advertisements on the walls then the waitress told us the owner was from Cincinnati...just like us. As long as you are not expecting more than a small, simple diner in a Hippie town in the... More

After a short hike at Mud Lake my daughter and I stopped for breakfast. She could not stop raving about the Mountain Muffin - an english muffin stacked with cream cheese, avocado slices, bacon, eggs covered with melted cheese served with side of hash browns. She loves the combo of cream cheese and avocado. My omelette was good, but not... More

I have eaten at Whistler's Café on three separate occasions. The food is poor to average quality. The service can be very slow, depending on the number of wait staff. But my major complaint is the restaurant always feels dirty. I worry that if the tables and chairs are sticky and dirty, what does the kitchen look like? There are... More

Enjoyed a breakfast with my husband on our way back from a trip into the mountains. The food was fresh and served quickly, and I had a nice conversation with the barkeep while we were waiting. They'd had a band in the night before, and unfortunately, the place still smelled a bit like the bar it had to have been... More

I was here a few months ago and the lady working was not happy to be there, it was her last few days, she announced, and didn't care. The other workers apparently didn't show up that day either. Got a hot dog, 30 min later still hadn't been served, walked out. Went back last week. The service was great, the... More

I stopped there today with my husband and daughter for lunch. Cold inside, out of most everything on the menu, and a very creepy stinky Duck Dynasty wanna be guy wandering from the bar to the front door over and over again. Awful! Never going back.

stopped in for breakfast. Bad choice. Nasty young waitress, lousy service, lousy food. Don't waste your time or money. Puke!
