Krisitie was a great waitron - steered us away from some beverage and food choices. She anticipated and brought extra ice keep our drinks chilled and kept water glasses filled on a hot summer day without us having to ask. The classic margaritas were nothing to brag about, certainly wonder about the claim of ''award winning.'' The shrimp tacos appetizer... More

I went with my "in-laws" to this place that is my girlfriend’s sister’s favorite Mexican spot. I’m not sure why. The service is excellent, the views (outside) are exquisite, but the food is only average and the atmosphere has the ambience of an old hunting lodge. That said, my brother-in-law did enjoy an excellent pomegranate margarita, and the whole family... More

The food at the Morrison Inn is far from what you might find at Taco Bell, which is a very good thing. In a state known for outstanding Mexican food, the authentic fare offered in this charming, low-key establishment is the best deal in town. If you're planning a trip to Red Rocks, the Morrison Inn deserves your attention as... More

Outstanding Mexican food. Limited beer selection but the regional IPA selection was excellent. Ask for the patio and enjoy. The fish tacos are some of the best I have ever had.

Good margaritas but marginal food. I've never been able to understand chips with Mexican food, i.e. tacos with chips, seems redundant, but that's my opinion. The food is just OK, but I think the drinks are what keeps this place open. It's always dirty, my shoes never fail to stick to the floor, smells like spilled beer. I usually opt... More

On a Sunday we decided to just take a drive and look for a place to have a snack and a drink. We have been to the Morrison Inn several times before and they do a great business in this small community at the foot of Red Rocks. The prices are average, but so was the food we ordered. The... More

I love this place. Always good food, drinks, great staff, and a little live music to go along with dinner. Tips: ask to sit outside. You will be pleasantly surprised. They have 2 bars and outside seating on their rooftop deck. Bonus: live music and tons of seating. Next time you visit Red Rocks stop in.

Ok... so this was an unexpected experience! We were going to a concert at Red Rocks (Peter Frampton & Cheap Trick... the trick was Frampton was sick and didn't show up) I told my relatives to meet us in front of Morrison Inn. When we got their I couldn't find them... they had gone inside and were eating and having... More
