Eighteen Gold Wing Riders descended on the Inn last Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, we did read the Red Rock concert schedule and the traffic was incredible. (Lesson 1-Always find out what's going on at Red Rocks!) Our reserved space on the patio was accidently given to another large group. We were fortunate that another large dining area was available for us.... More

Just hit this place before the James Taylor Concert at Red Rock, seems that a common combination I thought the Margarita was good, 12,16, 32 and 60 oz, The beer Margarita was interesting. A beer in a special hold is set in the large Margarita, kinda cool and good price deal. I see mixed reviews but I had recently a... More

Great location but this place lives on first time visitors and people who put up with poor food and poo service. Fathers Day in the summer and every place in town is packed but this so we went in and I had to ask for everything. Can you point out my waitress? Can I get my table cleared from the... More

The Morrison Inn is on my "tour" for family visits from anywhere. The plan is to stop there for lunch, go to the upstairs patio and enjoy any of their menu items. No one has ever been disappointed in this stop on my tour. It's in scenic historic downtown Morrison, which is another good reason to go there. We were... More

What a great little town and a terrific find!!! The food was good, the atmosphere was incredible!!! Eric the bartender was a lexicon of local knowledge & cool as hell!!! Butch the owner was charming and personable!!! The one man band Bruce Cole was talented & funny!!! In all my travels perhaps the best small town bar I've ever been... More

We went there recently and ordered food and margaritas. The margaritas were so-so and the food was terrible! I ordered the fish tacos and they were REALLY fishy (usually not a good sign). There was some weird sweet slaw on them as well. The corn tortillas weren't cooked, they just served them cold right out of the bag. My husband... More

Just ate there this evening after hiking nearby. I had eaten there once before and thought it was pretty good, but tonight, I was disappointed. For starters, they need to purchase a higher quality sour cream. We were given room temperature, bland, somewhat runny white stuff that was supposed to be sour cream. My daugher an I love sour cream,... More

Food is pretty good. Margaritas are mediocre, but not overpriced. Love the outdoor seating and decor. The place really could use a remodel inside. Been going here for years and it appears that nothing much has changed.

All I want to know is why people keep packing in to this place? Yes, the atmosphere could be nice, but the place needs a serious cleaning - oh, it's not filthy, just lots of layers of grime pretending to be historical patina. The food? That can't be it. There are 50 better Mexican places within a 20 minute drive.... More
