Wonderful margaritas and Mexican food!

We stopped at Morrison Inn yesterday for lunch with some out of town guests. Not my first visit, so I can say that they consistently serve great Mexican food. I had the shrimp enchiladas for the first time and they were out of this world!

A friend was passing through town and only had a few hours to eat, explore & catch up. We decided on lunch at the Morrison Inn. My friend is gluten-free so we got the GF menu and ordered. Starting with a "fishbowl" mango margarita. Sitting out on the patio, enjoying our drink and the great atmosphere. It was a wonderful... More

We took some out-of-town family here since there was an interest in the big Margaritas they make here. The Inn has been here for a while. In addition to the interior dining they also have some seating on the roof (my co-workers once had a happy hour up there). It is a busy, kinda loud restaurant, great for kids and... More

Krisitie was a great waitron - steered us away from some beverage and food choices. She anticipated and brought extra ice keep our drinks chilled and kept water glasses filled on a hot summer day without us having to ask. The classic margaritas were nothing to brag about, certainly wonder about the claim of ''award winning.'' The shrimp tacos appetizer... More

I went with my "in-laws" to this place that is my girlfriend’s sister’s favorite Mexican spot. I’m not sure why. The service is excellent, the views (outside) are exquisite, but the food is only average and the atmosphere has the ambience of an old hunting lodge. That said, my brother-in-law did enjoy an excellent pomegranate margarita, and the whole family... More

The food at the Morrison Inn is far from what you might find at Taco Bell, which is a very good thing. In a state known for outstanding Mexican food, the authentic fare offered in this charming, low-key establishment is the best deal in town. If you're planning a trip to Red Rocks, the Morrison Inn deserves your attention as... More

Outstanding Mexican food. Limited beer selection but the regional IPA selection was excellent. Ask for the patio and enjoy. The fish tacos are some of the best I have ever had.

Good margaritas but marginal food. I've never been able to understand chips with Mexican food, i.e. tacos with chips, seems redundant, but that's my opinion. The food is just OK, but I think the drinks are what keeps this place open. It's always dirty, my shoes never fail to stick to the floor, smells like spilled beer. I usually opt... More
