Ordered takeout for two. Food was ready after a small wait inside the restaurant. They gave us a nice box to carry everything out in, plus plenty of utensils for our hotel room. Service was friendly enough but nothing special. Egg rolls tasted like they were frozen. Chicken was covered in sauce. Not a ton of flavor, however it hit... More

We have friends in Colorado Springs who routinely drive up to Monument as they tell us this is, in their opinion, the best Chinese restaurant in the area. We have no reason to argue. We've always found the food to be delicious, the portions huge, the service very quick and attentive, and the meals value priced. We recommend it.

This is a very typical family run Chinese restaurant. These people are frugal to a fault, perhaps cheap. They could easily spend 500 to change the appearance of the place.....paint, pictures, air fresheners, blinds......little things....they could smile, and give away crunchy noodles instead of charging....and they would make more money in the long run by giving a little. A little... More

I eat here weekly - I think it has the best Chinese in the area and the best prices. Decor is not much but I don't go there for that. Jampong is the local speciality - everyone gets it and its great.

The portions are reasonable and the prices are competitive. The food is average for Chinese. The service is quick, but they seem to be trying to move you in and out quickly. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but reasonably comfortable booths and tables. There are many locals who are regulars at Colombine who have not seemed to notice the... More

Seems to have ok food., large portions., but., the place needs a facelift., and better atmosphere., and the servers, need to be less insistant on taking your plate and getting you out the door., that is not good customer service., Sorry., most always had good food., but the menu is not diverse., and needs changes, also. Good luck., swing by.,... More

I have been dining at this restaurant for about 15 years now, and I've noticed w/the economy, they have been cutting corners w/their food. Columbine Gardens used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area, but I believe the quality of their food has declined somewhat over the years. The hot sour soup used to be the BEST around,... It's not easy to find good Chinese Food in Colorado. I had lunch there today and had a beef dish. It wasn't very good. The hot and sour soup was fine. The egg roll was over-cooked and dark brown. I also felt rushed. They kept trying to take my plate while I was still eating. There were only 3 other... More

Looking for a quick, friendly and oddly flavorful place for Chinese, then this is it. I ordered hot and sour soup, which was so peppered my senses were overwhelmed and my tongue was numb. The wontons are just a mass of cream cheese with no flavor and the chicken in my chicken fried rice was bland, tough and greasy. The... More

This is my favorite Chinese place! It is always delicious! Can order anything and you will be pleased. Usually get it to go, but the service is also very good. Have been going here for a long time and still love it!
