Very comfortable

Beautifully restored old house, the Wisdom Tea House is very welcoming. The food is great - wraps, soups, scones, pies, cakes. Its all great. There are a variety of dried teas to take home. Really sweet little place.

I enjoy the tea house. Good variety of hot and cold tea. Good bakery and sandwiches. In the summer sit outside. If you are visting Monument - do come in.

I love everything about Wisdom Tea House, other than somewhat limited hours. I would be there all the time! I highly recommend a scone with all the fixin's, and any tea they have is amazing. Well-kept facility inside and out. Rustic feel upstairs, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Eating outside on a sunny day is great, they have plenty... More

The time I spent at the Wisdom Tea House was pleasant and refreshing. I went with a group of ladies and had the high tea. The food was good, especially the chicken salad. The teas were delicious and the hostess was very knowledgable about the different kinds of teas. The only reason I didn't give the establishment 5 stars is... More

We’re pleased you enjoyed our Traditional Afternoon Tea with your friends. Our chicken salad continues to be our single most popular menu item since our first chef brought the recipe to us 7 years ago. We regret we didn’t explain how long it takes to properly brew a pot of tea, especially an herbal tea. Taking the order, racing downstairs,... More

Wisdom Tea House is a must for a visitor or a local to Monument. While a smaller, family-owned restaurant, they certainly are not lacking for quality and service. They feature tea, but have breakfast and lunch options as well including coffee and desserts. Their service is exceptional and their food is delicious. My wife and I frequent them and will... More

This is the best all around restaurant in Monument. With the owner, Tom Wisdom at the cash register you know he is keeping his eye on all the action and you are guaranteed good food and service. It is a small, casual place where you order as you enter and the food is delivered to your table. It could be... More

A local favorite! I came here with a friend for tea. It was her first visit. I chose it because everyone always has a enjoyable time. We sat on the pretty patio and lingered with tea and a scone. The tea is always perfect, Nice atmosphere, art, flowers, friendly staff, great food.

I went to lunch with a group of five ladies. We sat upstairs and had a great time. I had a soup and salad combo and both were excellent. I ordered iced tea and that was good as well. My only tiny complaint was the lack of refills on the tea. Once we sat down the only time we saw... More

Such a lovely spot for relaxing with friends and enjoying a good meal. In the summer, the outside patio is so nice, with a fountain nearby and lots of fragrant flowers and herbs. In colder months, enjoy the comfortable rooms with couches and chairs or more traditional table seating. The creaky floors and local art all add character, and the... More

The Wisdom Tea House has delicious soup and sandwiches. The Chicken Salad sandwich is one of the best I've every had and the soup warm and very tasty. The tea selections are unique and good, iced or hot. We will be back.
