Landed at Montrose airport hungry. Staff at the Hertz counter recommended this cafe for a hearty lunch. Right off Main street, this modest cafe offers comfort food and a warm reception. We had huevos rancheros and a tuna grill on bullseye rye. Also, an elephant ear found its way onto the table. The side salad greens were fantastic. Highly suggest... More

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to airport after 3 days of skiing. Amazing breakfast (eggs, potatoes, veggies and toast) with unique, organic and eco-friendly touches such as homemade fruit compote in re-usable containers. A pleasant surprise to find such a great place by chance. Highly recommended.

Just an outstanding cafe. Service and food are excellent. You won't be disappointed. It's my new favorite breakfast place!

Cute old fashioned restaurant, with a back in the day feel. Our breakfast, eggs, pancakes, and bacon, was made to order and was huge. The pancakes filled the whole plate. The service was great and the food was organic and made on the spot, and it didn't take long at all. You order and pay at the counter, seat yourself and... More

We stopped in for a bowl of oatmeal to start our day. It came with either raisins or nuts, a carton of low fat milk, and two pieces of their bakery bread. i thought it a bit pricey at $7 a bowl. They have various egg dishes and an array of pastries.

We came for breakfast based on other members' reviews and were very happy that we did. I was really impressed with the skillet breakfast that, along with the usual ham and potatoes, had a range of vegetables as well. Of course the bread is great, it is a bakery also! Although we did not try them, the cakes and pastries... More

This is the second time we have eaten here, both times a great experience. This is not a fancy place more like what you would find in the 60's. I ordered hash browns with eggs over medium, bacon, smothered in green chili. This wasn't on the menu, no problem. Great food and friendly staff.

You know you have left the city when you can order made from scratch biscuits and gravy AND shop for hay at the same time. Seriously this is a must stop if on Montrose.

We ate breakfast two out of three mornings while in Montrose and will definitely return next time we are in the area. These folks have it figured out, the quality of the food, their genuine hospitality and friendliness make this a local gem . Their homemade English muffins are worth the price of admission all on their own!

We never pass through Montrose without stopping at this wonderfully charming place. Family owned and operated for over 20 years they have great breakfasts, lunches, as well as breads and desserts! Mostly locals seem to frequent this establishment. It's in-town location sometimes makes finding a close parking spot difficult... But it is well worth the trouble to find this local... More
