Lunch a day ago with friends from New Zealand. Very good sandwiches, everyone pleased. We will go there again. The only negative is we sat near the front door and the flies were somewhat of a distraction. The bread selection and freshness seemed to be top drawer

Stopped here for lunch, great selection of hot and cold subs. Cute decor and feels like "home" there. The ice cream shop next door is joined by a hallway between the two restaurants. ;-) clean restrooms and the staff was very friendly! Definitely get your money's worth here!

My wife and I stopped in here in the morning to get sandwiches for a picnic lunch in the Black Canyon National Park. This was our first visit to the Great Harvest Bread Company and we were very happy with the results. We were immediately welcomed by the person at the counter. While we were looking at the sandwich options... More

I have eaten here a lot over a period of 2 years and I can say things are consistently the same as far as pros and cons which is why I rate this place as average. Cons: They are ridiculously slow. Every time. No matter how many people are in the store. The sandwich makers look at every ingredient on... More

Thank you for such a well thought out review. We will always love a complement and try to improve anywhere we are lacking. We do take time with our sandwich making, checking each order. We allow our customers to customize their orders and when we are busy it can slow us down. We will try to do harder. More

I really wish I liked this place better. The location is fabulous and the space pleasant. But the food is just average and the coffee is most disappointing (which REALLY matters if you are having a morning sweet roll.) And then there are the employees; sometimes I feel they aren't that thrilled to have to wait on me because I... More

Thank you for letting us know there was a issue with the coffee, we are very proud to use a locally owned and roasted coffee. We checked our commercial grinder and found a issue that has been fixed. I hope if you visit again you will enjoy a delicious cuppa. More

The bread was amazing on our sandwiches and the combinations were unique and very scrumptious! The salad was large, fresh and a perfect start to the day@

This place is always super tasty. Tons of breads to pick from, great soup, sandwiches, and the breakfast toasty is not to be missed.

I'm familiar with Great Harvest Bread Company from other cities. The only reason this particular one is only four stars is because they wouldn't sell me a freshly baked loaf of bread "because it hadn't cooled yet," and instead tried to sell me a loaf of day-old bread. Other Great Harvests will sell bread straight out of the oven. Sandwiches... More

I am sorry that you had a frustrating visit. We do sell fresh and hot bread from the oven. Unfortunately we can not put the bread through the slicer until it is cooled. We bag and put breads on the shelf as soon as cooled and do not keep any bread over 24 hours. Anything not sold is donated to... More

Perfect place to get a carry-out lunch en route to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Many choices - fresh hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, salads, etc. Excellent freshly brewed coffee, too. Service was helpful and friendly. As I deliberated over the menu, I was offered a generous sample of chicken salad. Mmmmm. We also bought a loaf of... More

My husband is gluten free. Though not a main staple on the menu, they do make a loaf a day and we bought it straight out of the oven. Gluten free bread in general is very tasteless and dry. This loaf was WONDERFUL. We brought it home after a five hour drive and even after the warmth wore off, the... More
