Opposite of a chain restaurant. The service was warm and the food was good. We also bought baked goods to go!

The salad greens were gritty from not being washed thoroughly and the veggie sandwich was skimpy with the thinnest portobello mushroom possible and no lettuce or tomato. The dressing for the salad was packaged and not cold. The bread was very good and the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was excellent. We were really disappointed in the lack of quality in... More

Garden salad had mushy tomatoes on it, requested romaine and received curly lettuce. The muffin was dry but could be because of the altitude. My husband got the bacon and cheese sandwich and it was tasty. My son threw his sandwich away because it was soggy. The double shot expresso was very good. Wouldn't come back

Great food, great atmosphere and great customer service! All of their bread is made fresh and contains no preservatives- which is great! They probably have the best location in Montrose which makes it a favorite place for lunch meetings. Their menu offers a nice variety of healthy options, although I usually end up going with their Smokey BBQ Cheddar Chicken... More

On the road from Aspen to Durango we tried this sandwich place on the recommendation of Tripadvisor submitters. The service was a little slow, in part because of the great range of breads that had to be recited before customers could choose. But knowing this, the women behind the till offered free pieces of various breads and muffins to tide... More

Lunch a day ago with friends from New Zealand. Very good sandwiches, everyone pleased. We will go there again. The only negative is we sat near the front door and the flies were somewhat of a distraction. The bread selection and freshness seemed to be top drawer

Stopped here for lunch, great selection of hot and cold subs. Cute decor and feels like "home" there. The ice cream shop next door is joined by a hallway between the two restaurants. ;-) clean restrooms and the staff was very friendly! Definitely get your money's worth here!

My wife and I stopped in here in the morning to get sandwiches for a picnic lunch in the Black Canyon National Park. This was our first visit to the Great Harvest Bread Company and we were very happy with the results. We were immediately welcomed by the person at the counter. While we were looking at the sandwich options... More

I have eaten here a lot over a period of 2 years and I can say things are consistently the same as far as pros and cons which is why I rate this place as average. Cons: They are ridiculously slow. Every time. No matter how many people are in the store. The sandwich makers look at every ingredient on... More

Thank you for such a well thought out review. We will always love a complement and try to improve anywhere we are lacking. We do take time with our sandwich making, checking each order. We allow our customers to customize their orders and when we are busy it can slow us down. We will try to do harder. More
