Went for breakfast. ...daughter ordered scrambled eggs & hash browns. ..hair in it! Complained..new order given 2 hairs in it. Food was very greasy.Staff...poor service. All oriental..couldn't understand us. Manager excuse probably the hair came in the hashbrown. I said I dont think so, you need to go watch over your cooks. WILL NOT GO BACK!

Fast service with friendly staff. Nothing special about the food we wanted to support a local business and it was close to our hotel. Prices were average sit down restaurant price.

We moved to Montrose in 1990 and The Red Barn has been the place for our family to gather for special occasions since then. It was the favorite of my husband's parents, who had moved to Montrose in 1985. It's been here since 1967, frequented by the local ranchers because they could always count on good food and service at... More

The food tasted as if it had been heated up at least 3 times. I had fish and it was tough and had a very weird taste. I sent it back but the next plate was no better. Won't go again!

Was traveling for work and had a hard time picking a place on a Friday night, so we walked over to the Red Barn for dinner. The waiter dropped our check off with our food and asked if we could pay now because his wife wanted him home, he then said he didn't get along with the other waitress. We... More

We ate here last year and were very disappointed. Our friends traveling with us wanted someplace near our motel so we decided to return and learned it has been taken over by new management. There is no comparison to our previous experience. My husband had the stew and it was an ample portion with plenty of meat and savory spices.... More

We have lived in Montrose for over 14 years and have gone to the Red Barn many times. I can't say that it was consistently good during that time, but okay. It is under new management as of earlier this summer and it has declined in its service and food quality dramatically. We joined a group of people last night... More

Don't buy any gift cards for the Red Barn!! I received one for Mother's Day from my kids, we went the next week and they would not honor it, saying the previous owner sold it (10 days before we went) and hasn't given the new owner the money. So my kids are out $50 and the new owner doesn't care.... More

I had a good time for eating here. The services are good. The owner is friendly to us. It is pretty clean. The food is really good and is valuable. We'll come back!
