fun as always

we had a great time with amazing steaks and good service from a great waiter from Charleston SC. I love coming here every time I'm in Vail or Beaver Creek. The "cook your own steak" concept is fun and very social.

The Minturn Country Club is neither in the country, nor is it a country club. It is a charming old bar that has added a refrigerated corner with a selection of some of the best cuts of meat in the country, as well as delightful bar food, and three giant grills in the different sections of the restaurant on which... We've spent the last 6 Superbowl week in Vail Colorado. Each vacation, the crew ventures west to Minturn CO (between Vail and Beaver Creek resorts) to have dinner at the Minturn Country Club. Do not expect to golf here, its a CIY restaurant where you select your own cut of beef and head for the indoor grills. They provide you... More

I've come here numerous times over the years. It's a fun time with friends to cook your own steak on a fire grill and season to your liking. It's a la carte ordering and you pick your own steak out.

Went after a day skiing with the family and had a fun visit. Everyone grilled their own steak over the grills. My kids are older and needed no supervision. They selected their own cuts of meats and cooked it to their personal tastes. No complaints allowed! Good Fun and enjoyed a nice steak dinner with a nice bottle of red... More

I took my family to dinner at the Minturn Country Club after a day of skiing. The steaks were excellent and we had a fun evening cooking them ourselves. If you are looking for a traditional steakhouse experience, this is not the place. But, if you are looking for a quirky, unique, fun place with excellent food, then you will... More

This was my second time here in 2 years. My boyfriend likes MCC and it is a tradition to eat here when he is in Vail. It is fun to cook your own steak and customize the seasonings to your liking. Sides were pretty good and I will give the thumbs up to the truffle fries (which were more like... More

Like that place for several reasons: great atmosphere, good service, good food. Especially the steaks are really very good! Of course, you need to cook it by yourself. However I understand that it is still can be cooked for you. Although, I would go with your friends or your family and while cooking you can have a great conversation! I... More

This is a steak house, where you cook your own, on a large indoor grill. You are given all the utensils, after choosing your cut of meat from the butcher counter. Excellent sides are brought to your table after your meal is cooked. The appetizers are really good- the six of us shared a Pu-Pu platter, which I would highly... More

I can't remember the last time I visited a place that had so many positive attributes and so many negative ones. In the end, they mostly canceled each other out, resulting in a pretty average experience. First off, don't be fooled by the name. The only thing "country club" about this establishment is a couple of framed pictures of golf... More
