I'm here now drinking a low chai tea with almond milk while husband an kids play chess. Lovely. They sell wine and beer along with a wide variety of teas an spices to take home. Mellow and comfortable - what a perfect spot!

Wallet friendly yummy lunch. Chicken salad croissant with fruit. Refreshing pomorante tea. Cute place in the wall!

a real undiscovered gem, we ate there for breakfast the morning we left town, basic fare but very good and reasonable. we wished we'd tried it sooner. i wound up buying some coffee and spices to take back home, the costa rican was very good. very relaxing atmosphere. everyone was very friendly, the young man behind the counter was hilarious.... Fluffiest pancakes I have had in forever-- yum! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The ambiance was interesting- shelves of teas, herbs and spices. The young lady from south carolina who cooked and served was friendly and gave us info about Manitou. I give her props for such great pancakes! I would definitely return on my next... More

Checked this place out with Good Karma wasn't open one morning and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. My fiancé and I had some delicious tea (try the Dragon Pearl!) and relaxed in some armchairs in the back of the cafe.

Just wanted a quick sandwich and soup instead of a sit-down meal, and this was just the ticket. Not a big selection on menu, but they are accommodating to make what you want (if they have the ingredients). They were out of Italian meat fixin's but made the same sandwich just w/turkey. Sandwich kind of bland, but had an outstanding... More

The two women who work here could not be grumpier, unfriendlier nor more blah. Their inhospitality colored our whole experience here -- and, from our observations, of every one of the guests, also. So unnerving that I am contacting the owners to alert them.

From the moment I entered the door to place my order, the boy behind the counter treated me like a nuisance. I've worked in the food industry before (high school and college) and understand it's not always the easiest to keep a smile serving food, so I go out of my way to be friendly and respectful toward restaurant workers.... A bit pricey but it was worth it. The pancakes were great! The best part in the nuance/atmosphere. It was welcoming, not a franchise and not touristic. I recommend it!

We were in the Manitou Springs area and used TripAdvisor to guide us to a place for lunch. We drove by this place twice before we found it. But, we were happy we did. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I had the Turkey Cuban and truly enjoyed it. In addition, the tea and spice selection... More
