Don't waste your time or money. My wife and I ordered margaritas and you would think a Mexican restaurant would do a better job of making them. They were mediocre at best. My wife ordered enchiladas and I ordered the fajitas burger. The enchiladas were bland and my burger was dry with a rubbery texture. The service was the only plus.... More

This place may well stay open solely because of its location. It's a shame really. The food was clearly not homemade, or if it was, they need a new chef. The prices were painful. The hamburger was paper-thin with processed cheese, $11.50! The rice was barely seasoned, the beans were pureed to soup. The chili relleno tasted like cardboard. Two... More

We tried this place for the first time while visiting Manitou.. it was very busy and the salsa was too hot to enjoy! The guacamole tasted like the kind you buy already made in the store.

I really wish I had taken some pic to share. We visited a friend in Colorado Springs for a few days and spent a few hours walking around the many shops in Manitou Springs (which was awesome). We had been craving some good Mexican food and my friend recommended The Loop. It did not disappoint. In fact, it was better... More

Best Green Chili Stew EVER. We are from New Mexico and know our green chili stew. This may not be NM Green Chili Stew but dang it was the best!

Service was slow, few smiles, drinks were inferior, small portions lacking flavor or freshness. Good location....but I guess it's not all about...."Location, Location, Location, it takes a team of workers who enjoy being there themselves. Not very inviting atmosphere. Try up the hill in Woodland Park for the authentic Mexican meals.

Have been to this establishment twice and have been disappointed on both occasions. Nothing Mexican about the food and believe that their products are not as fresh as other local and authentic Mexican eateries. Definitely would not recommend it even if you are hungry. There are lots of other restaurant choices for more than average food in Manitou.

We live in Spain and can't get great Mexican food. While staying in Manitou Springs for 2 weeks we visited this restaurant. We all loved what we ate and the menu had a lot of unique offerings.

Only stopped in for lunch. Lots of choices on the menu, but not cheap Mexican. Guess that's expected in a tourist area like Mainitou Springs. Wife and I both found the supplied salsa way to hot to appreciate. Lunch dishes, however, were well prepared and served quickly. Pretty good place for a nice lunch, but really not worth going out... I find myself always wanting to go back to The Loop for their Tacos el Carbon never mind a refreshing house Margarita that never disappoints. I think The Loop has won best Margarita in the Springs for at least 10 years by the Independent Best of The Springs Edition. Anyhoo, back to the Tacos el Carbon. I just love the... More
