To all reading this, The Dutch Kitchen has closed due to the owner passing away. If you ate here, you know how original it was and how it was part of Manitou Springs.

We decided to stop based on a review from a friend. I was leary st first since tripadvisor had no recent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at the warm service we received. We are traveling with an infant & both are waiter & the woman who seated us were very accommodating. The place is small & looks like its not... More

This is a small family owned and operated restaurant in the west end of Manitou Springs, and they have good homemade food with recipes handed down from 2 generations. The atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are reasonable. The menu has all the basics, and BE SURE to save room for Mike’s homemade pies. His crust will compete with the... More

This is a small old looking restaurant at the far end of downtown Manutou Springs. It has been there over 50 years, so we thought we would give it a try. The hot beef with real mashed potatoes and real gravy was the best I have ever had. Try the pie too, it is all homemade. Excellent food!!

The Dutch kitchen is at the western side of town and has a very small dining room. The interior is very woodsy but don't let that stop you from eating the fantastic food. The corned beef sandwich is great and all of the food is made from scratch onsite by the owner. The pies though are really special. The buttermilk... More

We really really liked this place. Doesn't get as much traffic due to it's location just on the outskirts of town. The food was very good and the pies were frankly amazing. Some of the best pastrami/corned beef I've had outside of NYC.

This restaurant is 50 years old and that is their claim to fame. Honestly they haven't changed one thing in there since they opened. It was not clean, it was crowded (with tables, not people) and the food was so-so. They won a local award 11 years for their pie and it's still on the wall. Come on....11 years ago.... More

This is a very small restaurant! Had I not read good reviews on the internet I probably would not have gone here. It is not impressive on the inside. It is a bit run down and the tables are on top of each other but I do appreciate good home cooking and pie for dessert so we gave it a... More

Food was decent, but it was overpriced and the people were rude. They acted as if I was completely insane to try to use a credit card for the meal. Rude when I suggested they should take cards.
