A Very Special Meal

We live in the area, but have never had a chance to go to Briarhurst Manor, until now. Our dinner was outstanding, but it was the people and service that really made our night. Great food and service was superb. Great selection of menu items and an extensive wine list. Nice presentation. 5 stars.

We celebrated our 19 year anniversary and my Birthday Nothing is ever perfect, so I will start off with the bad and then go into the great. Briarhurst is an excellent restaurant, but getting to it can be a bit harrowing. They did a great job calling us the day before to let us know about not missing their drive... More

The food was truly incredible! Five course meal left my wife, 7-year old daughter and I stuffed and quite happy. The first course was an Amuse Bouche, which is a single bite-sized hors d’œuvre, which was a delicious piece of roasted pork with slivers of jicama and basil. The bread came with a very tasty orange and thyme marmalade, chicken... More

Experienced the Briarhusrt Manor for the first time last night, wish we had discovered it sooner. Don't get me wrong, it is on the pricier side...for special occasions and date nights. I would not bring children. It is definitely an evening out either social or date night. They do weddings and receptions, also. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It was... More

Dining by candlelight in a manor built in 1876, it doesn't get much better. In Manitou Springs just on the outskirts of Colorado Springs, the Briarhurst Manor is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. It's expensive, but the service, food and atmosphere make it worth every penny. You can dress up a little or go casual (it's Colorado after... More

Just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary using the groupon deal. The server took time to explain everything and answer our questions. We upgraded our entree to the Beef Wellington, which was delicious. Our dessert was served on a slate from the original roof of the manor with the words "Happy Anniversary."

Walking into this restaurant was a journey into years before my time. The history is very interesting and is well worth your while to explore it. From the welcoming greeting as you first enter to the impeccable service, the experience was amazing. Attention to detail and the subtle personal touches were a delight as I was there for a birthday... More

My husband and I visited Briarhurst Manor for the first time this past weekend. First, we enjoyed the history of the manor and all the unique dining rooms that at one time were bedrooms. The Manor is very tastefully decorated and the rooms were very cozy. Our server, Alex, was so knowledgeable of the menu and he could not have... More

We went here for a birthday dinner and the food was so poorly prepared that it has become a family joke. My daughter and I got the "Duck, Duck, Goose" and we both would swear that the duck was actually a chicken leg as it had no resemblance to duck in taste or consistency. My husband got the Beef Wellington,... More
