Unique restaurant

My wife and I had dinner a few days ago during our vacation. We enjoyed the 5-course meal and different selections available. Great atmosphere. Main comment is that restaurant may be hard to find as there are no proper signs indicating the main entrance.

We happened to find a Groupon for this place so we decided to go while vacationing in the Manitou Springs area. So glad we did! It was a memorable meal in a historic mansion. They call it 5 courses, but 2 of them are just small bites. However, the amuse bouche that arrived first was smoked salmon paired with a... More

We attended a Halloween Charity event here and we found it charming and the food was delicious. It was a great place for the event with lots of space and several local bands. The staff was attentive and handled the group very well. The manor is very cool to walk around and the property is lovely.

When we lived in Colorado Springs this was our go to place for special family events like birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries. We made a point of going to the Briarhurst when we were back in town. It was a special family occasion. All I can say is, what happened to our wonderful restaurant? The food was average at best. When... More

This place was amazing. From the ambiance to the service to the amazing food. The choices were unique and there was no one in our group who was not gushing over how fabulous their choice was. And the deserts were insanely good. If you want a top of the line meal and a cool experience this is a must.

We reserved dinner here via Open Table, and we are glad we did! The dining experience was phenomenal! Elijah was our server, and he made the entire experience a delight! We were seated in what I assume was the old conservatory of the manor. Elijah was very helpful with our selection of wine, our appettizer, entree and dessert selection. His... More

They did it again. This time for our anniversary. Once again, the food was exceeded only by the simply outstanding service provided by the hostess Hannah and our server Alex! We go for my wife’s birthday, my birthday, our anniversary, and Christmas each year now. The Briarhurst treats us like royalty every time. Easily our favorite restaurant in the area!

Our daughter was married here on 8-1-2015. We'd intended to do a combination plate for lunch, but after doing our taste test, we could not eliminate any selections as they were all so good, and ended up providing our guests with four lunch options. Numerous guests found us afterwards to rave about the food, saying "it's the best wedding meal... More

We had a private dining room for our party of 9. Ordered several different Starters and Entrees. So much and so good that there were bites from different plates going around the table so all could try. We were trying to see how we could take the staff home with us. A must dinner stop if in the area.

Our friends invited us to celebrate their last payment on their mortgage. We ate in the main dining room, beautiful and elegant. The waitress was very knowledgeable and courteous. She explained everything about the meal, which was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful time...can't wait to go back!
