Worth the time

We are local to the Springs and have been going to the manor for several years. Always love experiencing the building. I haven't been to the Briarhurst Manor for years and was delighted with the entire evening. The evening manager greeted us with an upbeat welcome and, as we found out during the evening, is quite engaging without being intrusive. Our waiter delivered the yummy food with character & was quite informative on food choices. We used the 5 course Groupon... More

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? We purchased a Groupon for the 5 course meal at Briarhurst and used it for a pre-Valentine's Day dinner/birthday celebration. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, who told us about the manor, then seated us at a window as requested, making sure that we were very... More

The manager dresses just fine and her staff provides excellent service. The setting is very romantic for couples and Briarhurst has large rooms for groups. The food is very good. The only downside and the only reason we don't go more often is the price. The value just isn't there.

I love the building itself. It is old and elegant, really a lovely place. The manager is pleasant, but should dress more formally and do her hair. This is my second time there in the last three months and she looked like a slob both times. Unprofessional and not a good first impression. The food used to be amazing, but... More

We were grossly disappointed with the food; however, the service and ambiance are excellent. We had the Groupon Coupon and if I did not know better by reading some of the other reviews I would think we were seated in a different room than the full-price diners. We had the 5-course meals. My wife chose the Ring-Necked Pheasant (tough) and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner. I have visited the Briarhurst several times over the years and even had my wedding there many years ago. I have always enjoyed both the food and the service. I love the lobster bisque, the jams and pate that they serve with the bread, and the delightful creativity showcased by the amuse... More

We've been to the Briarhurst a number of times and never had less than fantastic food and service. The last time, we took my parents there for their anniversary. My mom is allergic to roses, so when we sat down, she asked the waiter to remove the rose from the table. He did, and brought back a different flower for... More

Briarhurst Manor is quaintly nestled in the foothills of Manitou Springs. Unlike most establishments in Manitou, there is ample parking on the property. Inside and out the Briarhurst is well maintained. None of which would matter if the food didn't match the setting. As you would expect; the food lives up to expectations. From salmon to beef & chicken dishes,... More
