We loved the secluded feel to this mansion in the woods. It was quiet, white tablecloth dining. So nice after a hectic day. Our server Alex was wonderful. He knew the menu and dishes by rote and helped us make some good choices. We had the wild boar chops and the duck. Both were good, but the duck was a... More

This restaurant was just 5 min. away from our B&B. Dinner was in an old lodge, which was very unique with about five different rooms, making dining a more intimate experience. Our waiter, Elijah, was excellent. We had a bottle of Buena Vista Pinot Noir and bowls of Lobster Bisque (lobster in bottom of bowl and the creamy broth poured... More

The beauty of the structure was breath taking. The parking lot is a problem is you own a low to the ground sports car. We parked off sight because of this. The food was delicious and beautifully served. We had venison osso bucco, and Japanese eggplant--both delicious. Our waiter, Elijah, was very good and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere... More

Thank you Alison and the Briarhurst Manor for making the wedding of my dreams come true. When we look back at our wedding June 21 there was no other place I would have wanted to have our wedding. The Manor, the staff, the food, the cake, Alison and everything about the Briarhurst was more then what we could have expected.... More

My friend and I were debating on whether to have dinner at the Cliff House where we were staying or to try Briarhurst Manor. They were both highly rated and apparently the only two fine dining choices in the area. We walked to the Briarhurst to take a look and to view the menu. There was no one at the... More

We were seated promptly and shortly Jason appeared, welcomed us, asked if we were using any coupons (we were using a Briarhurst birthday coupon for $25 off), and took our beverage order. We chose to go with the five-course dinner (amuse brioche, soup or salad, intermezzo, entree, and dessert) for a flat $14 above ala carte entree prices. The amuse... More

We ordered the 5 course meal with filet mignon and the meal was one of the finest we have ever had. All the courses were exceptional. As if the food wasn't enough, the service was also exceptional. Josh was our server, and it is worth noting that he was one of the best servers I have ever had and my... More

Horrible experience. Arrived for an evening dinner with spouse. Upon being seated, we waited and waited and waited. Finally, ordered coffee and the wait staff took our orders. Years passed by. Got up and got our own coffee refills. More years passed by. More self-served coffee. Centuries are now passing by with no sign of wait staff. Finally, after getting... More
