We thoroughly enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner. I have visited the Briarhurst several times over the years and even had my wedding there many years ago. I have always enjoyed both the food and the service. I love the lobster bisque, the jams and pate that they serve with the bread, and the delightful creativity showcased by the amuse... More

The Briarhurst Manor never disappoints when it comes to delicious food and excellent service! We are always warmly greeted whether it be over the phone or in person. The servers are ALWAYS friendly, eager to answer any questions you may have and never miss a beat when it comes to helping you with their excellent menu choices. They smile and... More

We've been to the Briarhurst a number of times and never had less than fantastic food and service. The last time, we took my parents there for their anniversary. My mom is allergic to roses, so when we sat down, she asked the waiter to remove the rose from the table. He did, and brought back a different flower for... More

Briarhurst Manor is quaintly nestled in the foothills of Manitou Springs. Unlike most establishments in Manitou, there is ample parking on the property. Inside and out the Briarhurst is well maintained. None of which would matter if the food didn't match the setting. As you would expect; the food lives up to expectations. From salmon to beef & chicken dishes,... More

Hadn't been here in a number of years. The beef short ribs were great. I'll be back. Probably skip dessert though, it wasn't as good as the rest of the meal.

My husband and I celebrated with an evening out, and really enjoyed the ambiance and grounds, and the service was impeccable. There was an old world feel to the entire evening, from the almost invisible waiters, (meaning we never noticed them refilling glasses, removing dishes, bringing extra items). Explanation of the menu items was done without pretension, there were dishes... More

We recently had the five course meal at the Briarhurst Manor and it was out of this world! The food was delicious and well prepared from course one to dessert. The ambiance is perfect, too. This place really isn't to be missed. You can tell the food is prepared fresh and nothing is packaged or precooked. We both chose the... More

My wife and I had made reservations online to have Turkey Day Dinner there, and we were not disappointed. We elected to have a served meal instead of their Thanksgiving Buffet, and we were very pleased with the results. The food was superb. Service was a little slow, but not unreasonably so for a mid-day Thanksgiving dinner. Our young waiter... More

This old historic mansion is a lovely place to dine especially for a special occasion. My husband and I went there recently with another couple to celebrate our birthdays. Even though we love the ambiance and the excellent service, our experience was mixed regarding the food. The two men ordered Beef Wellington and Steak Diane and they enjoyed it very... More

I took my husband to a birthday dinner last night at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs. I think he only agreed because I had a $50 off coupon that I'd bought a number of years ago through my office - because he doesn't in general like to go to spiffy places. But let me tell you, folks, this was... More
