Had the grilled chicken salad and my husband had the Sahara gyro; both delicious. Our server was fantastic, she's from the Czech Republic!

We stumbled upon this little cafe in downtown Manitou Springs. My friend and I both like Mediterranean food, so thought we'd give it a try. The prices were very reasonable and the food was perfect! We both had gyros and like I said, best I ever had! (And I've eaten plenty!) The dolmas were amazing and I'd highly recommend this... More

As a bellydancer, I have eaten my fair share of middle eastern food. This is hands down the best I've ever had. The falafel was light and perfectly crisp. The pita was fresh with a pillowy chewy texture, and the hummus and taziki were delicately flavored. I wish I could take this restaurant home with me.

I have visited this place twice.... all the people working in this café is soooo friendly... this place is little bit pricy comparing to similar food in Denver... However the food taste is excellent.

Took my parents here when they visited colorado. We were in manitou springs (very touristy). We walked into sahara and were greeted by a very friendly young guy. I forgot his name but for his age he was extremely professional and was on top of everything. Also the man who was helping out (think he was the owner) was also... More

We started off with the dolmas for an appetizer, then had lamb kabobs and the sampler platter, followed by baklava for dessert. Everything was fresh, delicious, and nicely presented (although on plastic plates). Service was very attentive and friendly. Not a fancy atmosphere, but such a nice ethnic meal.

You will be hard pressed to find a fresher more flavorful meal. The sage tea is fantastic. It's good both hot and cold.

We sat outside in their patio area. We had our 20 pound dog with us and there were two other tables in the patio that also had their dogs. Food was good, service was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because after our meal we used the restroom. The restrooms and kitchen view made me wish... More

Too many interesting looking entrees makes for difficult decision-making for a first-timer. Ended-up with the chicken kabob, which had excellent flavor. The humus was excellent, as well.

Been coming once a week with my father. Tony is a serious chef who always makes our lamb kabobs just like we like them. Tony takes great care in his preparation and also personally checking with us every visit. Tony takes great care in having a clean kitchen and the way he plates makes the meal that much more enjoyable.... More
