Delicious!

Gave this a try not expecting much and we were wonderfully surprised. Loved the hummus and the pita bread was fresh and delicious. The baklava was by far the best we've ever had. Very reasonably priced for a tourist town. We'll be back for sure.

I am eating the baklava as I write, my eyes rolling back in delight! Wow, the reviews did not disappoint. Briney dolmas, balanced tsatsiki and tender kabobs. The cukes were crunchy and the salad greens were fresh, not wilted. The hummus was a tad creamier to my liking and the tabbouleh a bit heavy with green onions but what a... More

We stopped here for lunch and quite enjoyed the delicious shawarma, cozy atmosphere, congenial staff and reasonable prices, I tried the Turkish Coffee, (very robust, it must be an acquired taste). Have you ever tried shawarma?

Had their signature sandwich and loved it. Very fresh ingredients. The turnip pickle sounded a bit weird, but it complemented the sandwich well. The place is a clean & nice cafe.

We stopped in to Sahara Cafe last weekend for a leisurely lunch and enjoyed it immensely! I ordered the sampler, and got way more food than I expected for the price. The falafel was tasty, but the chicken, lamb and beef were fabulous! I recommend asking for extra tsatsiki because you need more than the little bit on the salad.... More

Gyros and falafels tasty and satisfying. Hummus was very fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. Decent prices.

We returned to the Sahara Cafe again this spring with our 18 month old grandson in tow. The four if us had a varied sampling of their cuisine. I love the delicate flavors of the chicken and the lamb kabobs. The veg dishes are also special and varied. But I was blown away by the delicate pastry on the baklava.... More

Fabulous falafel: crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside--no grease. My wife had the combo gyro and loved it. Unbelievable french fries with a nice crunch!

I enjoyed this place a lot. Good coffee and smoothies but also ice cream and food...sort of a one-stop-hop kind of place. The young man who took care of us was very personable. Everything I had was good. If I had anything negative to say it would just be that the kabobs needed a bit of salt. Everything was fresh... More

Very casual, friendly fast service, we had the lamb gyro and the sampler platter both really good. There was some minor construction going on with the store front (outside) so they gave us a piece of baklava on the house, which was a nice touch. Next time we're in Manitou Springs we'll be back.
