As early as 1877 guests came to Manitou Springs to stay and dine in the grandeur of the west. The dining room's simple yet elegant decor provides the setting for a very pleasant meal. My wife ordered the Fruits d' Mer (a seafood medley of lobster, scallops and shrimp served over angel-hair pasta with a lemon foam). I was torn... More

The most delicious cuisine and the most attentive help I have ever encountered at a hotel! We stayed for 4 days and nights and dined in the dinig room for both breakfast and dinner. At the morning breakfast, Anthony was especially helpful and polite.

We celebrated an occasion, it was wonderful as always! We had the trout and the salmon on the menu- both delicious! We also ordered the mushroom en croute appetizer- delectable! The wine list is expansive, but the sommelier was very helpful. We decided to top off with chocolate and port wine- alas no dark chocolate on the dessert menu! We... More

The Cliff House dining is not cheap, though not the most expensive meal we have ever had. What it was was an excellent experience and one we would repeat. We had a great time. We arrived for a 7:00 reservation, which unexpectedly seemed to be late as far as seating at good tables. We were placed at one of the... More

Always a good experience when the service is so understated you hardly notice it. We had 4 of us and they had 2 waiters attending to us. Impeccable service. Food delicious; I had the pork and it was large, thick, and sooo tender. Amuse-bouche a classy touch. Trio of creme brulees recommended. Grilled caesar salad way above average. Atmosphere lovely... We had a fantastic dinner from The Cliff House's New Year's Even pre-fixe menu. We were greeted and seated promptly upon our arrival (we had a reservation) and addressed by name the entire evening. The staff (maitre d, and 2 dedicated waiters) were attentive and responsive but never overbearing. The wine list was extensive with options at all price points.... More

The family (11 of us - kids and adults) went for a special Mother's Day dinner this year. We had impeccable service, delicious food, and because we were in a separate room...amazing atmosphere (although the entire hotel/restaurant is beautiful).

We had dinner here on a busy Saturday night, so maybe that was the reason we had such a bad experience. It is a lovely setting and very nice dining room. Our service was slow and spotty. We were never offered a wine list the server just stated some varietals in red wine and that is what we got. Dirty... More

I had the wild boar and Swiss quiche and while it tasted amazing, the service was slow and uninviting. We sat on the veranda and the view was beautiful. Highly recommend sitting outside. I found the prices to be a little high for what you get; however, the experience overall made up for that! Not very kid friendly though so... More

My wife and I stayed at the Cliff House and wanted to try dinner due to the high ratings received on the site. We were pleased with the service and food. My wife got the salmon with crab risotto. The salmon was very good, the risotto was not one of her favorites. I got the elk tenderloins. Very good flavor... More
