Best Baklava!

I had the Ultimate Platter ( I think that was the name). It was gyro and chicken with falafel over rice. Hummus was okay and it also came with a little "salad" on the plate. The salad was different from other places I've been, it was pickles, tomatoes, banana peppers over shredded lettuce. My mom... read more

The kabobs, falafels, humus and salad was extraordinary! We will definately eat here on our next trip to Manitou Springs! We really enjoyed eating on the patio!

I went to Heart of Jerusalem a few days ago, and it was not what we expected because majority of the reviews were so positive. The food was pre packaged, frozen food that they cooked and served. The staff was very nice, but there were a few who weren't, and the cook was yelling at the waitresses in front of... More

I have eaten at Heart of Jerusalem several times before and I keep coming back. The entree portions are almost enough for two people and the food is really good. The atmosphere is just okay, kind of diner-like, but the food more than makes up for it. The falafel is out of this world!

Some of our group ate here while we were in Manitou Springs, and really felt like they had taken a trip to the Mediterranean. Everything we had was very fresh, and we all felt like it was one of the best meals we had while in the area. We will go back again!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. I loved everything! I enjoyed a falafel/chicken sandwich and dolmathakia. My husband had a sampler platter type lunch. I would visit here again and again.

Garbage on a plate. Phony menu with tasteless food. Waste of time and money. I wuld not recommend this place to a starving person.

Went here with family after a morning conference. Ordered our food and when my husband's food came out I realized something on his plate was a mixture of sour cream and something else. I asked the waitress if I could not get that particular item on my plate. When she mentioned to the chef, he instantly got an attitude as... More

Awesome little restaurant in the heart of Manitou Springs. Inside and outside seating. The portions are HUGE! You wont be hungry when you leave. Service was great. Its simple yet interesting. Get the Turkish coffee....it was heavenly. Cant say anything bad about this little gem.
