We do not like to dine in Manitou Springs. Very crowded, food is high priced, tax is over 9%. Forget it! there are plenty of great restaurants in CO Springs. We also like "Taste of Colorado" in Cascade..

My family dropped in for dinner for the first time at this restaurant. We were seated immediately and served water & our order taken. We waited and waited and waited. We watched 3 different tables seat patron who ate and left before we were served. We explained this to the first waitress and were told that "...it was the cook."... More

I've always loved ethnic food but what I had defies description. Everything, from the Hummus to the lamb, was so sour and salty I wasn't able to eat it. A total waste of money.

We wanted something different one evening and this did the trick! Great little place with outdoor dining available in downtown Manitou Springs. The server seated us immediately and got our drinks. She was swamped! Not sure why she was the only person in the front for almost the entire time we were there but she never made anyone wait!!! She... More

Glad we found this gem. They offer lots of vegan, gf options and are pet friendly (outside). The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Hubby ordered the kafta pita with fries and I had the falafel (which was probably the best I've ever had - fresh and cooked to perfection). Very reasonably priced for lunch; big portions.

I liked this place a lot. Its very close to real mid eastern food slightly americanized. I had the Lamb Kabobs and they were very good. My wife had the meat combo kabobs and she didn't like it at all. This place has real ethnic food and is very good if like that type of food.

I wanted something lite, since I arrived in Manitou Springs around 10:30....looked at the menu and saw falafels....they were fabulous!! The cook was very kind, as well as the waitress...they came with humus, and other condiments....also had Nann bread that was drizzled with the tinest bit of oil, and sprinkled with some herbs....made it taste so flavorful!! The falafels are... More

For a random place that we were not even aware of, we were certainly surprised and very happy to find this place. The food was very good & portions are very large. I would not recommend getting the appetizer because it is a meal itself. The falafels were in the shape of a heart. The only issue we had was... More

This was our first meal in Manitou Springs and we made a good choice. We both like pita and hummus, and the pita was some of the best ever. The hummus was also excellent. I had the platter with chicken, beef and lamb. I liked the chicken the best. My wife had the falafel platter, and loved the falafel and... More

We arrived at the Heart of Jerusalem Cafe hungry and wet. The owners were friendly, and the food hit the spot. I have eaten Middle Eastern food all over the world, and this compares favorably to any of it. The price/value proposition here is fantastic, as is the location. We found this place based on TripAdvisor recommendations, and we wanted... More
