Surprising variety and great service

We did not expect to find Middle Eastern food in Manitou. There is not much in the way of family eating establishments in Manitou, most places are bars full of rowdy college age people. It was great to find a quiet, family dining place with food my kids like. My children are adventurous eaters... read more

Was unsure if I was in the mood for this type of food and very happy I went. Great variety of food, even kid friendly menus, great service, and incredible food. The portions are large and very reasonable. Authentic. Indoor or outdoor seating next to the creek. Right by shopping and public parking. There was a disturbing intoxicated pedestrian outside... I loved the fantail shrimp dish and my family enjoyed the chicken and beef. Their sage tea was great and the staff were very friendly.

I had bought a Groupon for two based to the reviews. This was not like any I'd del east food I had eaten before. The meat was chopped up in tiny pieces and not that flavorful. I felt like I was at a fast food place. For middle eastern, it was sub par. Large portions, but disappointing.

The food was great...our first experience with middle eastern food. The help was super friendly and gave excellent service. The prices were very reasonable, except maybe the ice cream, but it was delicious anyway. :)

I had heard good things about this restaurant, went there for lunch one day and was not disappointed. I ordered the vegetarian/veggie plate which consisted of hummus, dolmas, pita triangles, tabbuleh, and falafel shaped like little hearts. It was absolutely wonderful and quite filling. However, I could not resist ordering some baklava for dessert, also absolutely delicious. The service was... More

It was a very pleasant surprise to find well cooked and seasoned lamb in Colorado. During the day or for an early supper and before tourist season, it is a nice place to work.

The felafel, in the shape of a heart, is the best we've ever had. The portions were generous and delicious and the service was good as well. It's easy to see why this is a local favorite.
