Not just because I'm a resident of Mancos but because this restaurant knows how to do it right! A family owned and operated business that I've never heard any negativity about. Try it and you'll keep coming back!

Well this was a surprise. We didn't spot the place at first in this cute little town. Walked in and there were tons of people. Waitress right away told us to take a seat anywhere, plenty of seating in rear of café as most was taken in front. Quick service. The coffee you serve yourself, delicious. We ordered the special... Long wait for the popular local place that in the end had very meh food and lukewarm coffee. The loaner bookshelves inside provided a lot of Christian reading material for the interested.

This was a first visit but the service was spot on and the food smells wonderful. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating. Back room looks to hold larger groups.

We were only going to stop for a little something, but ended up ordering lunch (delicious) before picking out our bakery goods, to go. Very friendly people, down-home feeling to the bakery/cafe, and excellent lunch-style food (we had huge slices of quiche, which is why our bakery goods were "to-go." Their baked goods are delicious - I had a raspberry/choc.... More

This little place has it all: Funky atmosphere, lots of locals, fun waitstaff and to top it off, one of the best breakfasts we've ever indulged in anywhere. Don't leave without having the brown butter sea salt cookies or at least taking a dozen or so with you.

A genuine discovery. In this tiny town in a gorgeous Colorado valley is this surprising large bakery - cafe that defies categorization. The food is great but is second to the vibe, ambience, charm, mojo, whatever you want to call it. Not exactly hippie, not tree-hugger, nearly backpacker, touch of biker, it is - well -- unpretentiously cool. You got... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a resident of the Durango area who said there wasn't a better breakfast place around. That endorsement meant that we had to try it on our way to Mesa Verde National Park.. We were not disappointed. We both ordered "the stack" which ranks as the best meal we had on our long 17... More
