This restaurant can be tricky to find because it's a large Victorian house. This restaurant is a multi-level plus an outdoor seating area. They serve homemade cooking and some items are local and organic. I was there for brunch and was pleased with the selections. I felt the price was a tad high for what I ordered, but my dining... This restaurant was formerly Sophias. I always liked that place but I enjoyed my breakfast at this establishment as well. The prices were a little high but the portions were manly sized meaning I had more than enough to eat and then some. What I like about this place is the separate room on the main floor of this lovely... More

I typically do not write reviews, but I would not send my worst enemy to La Casa. The service was awful. Food was cold, in fact the cheese on top of the refried beans wasn't even melted. One of our meals arrived wrong, even though a server verified our order before it was served. Ridiculously over priced and definitely not... More

I am reviewing this restaurant as the new La Casa Mexican bar and grill which has replaced Sophia's bistro. Under the same owner but a completely different menu La Casa offer traditional Mexican food with a few unique twists. Started with the chips and salsa which comes in mild and hot we tried the mild which is tasty but no... More

We've had way better and way worse, but were hoping for more. Whenever you use the word "bistro", you're either going to disappoint or blow away, and unfortunately, we were mildly disappointed. We went for breakfast. Prices were ok, but not great. Coffee was weak and boring, but not acidic. Food was ok, but nothing special. Potatoes were dry and... More

Better....but they're not. We have given Sofia's at least 5 tries over the last two years (two during Mother's Day brunches) to make up for growing pains or crowd effect or global warming - but each time we're unfortunately underwhelmed. And that's a shame as it's our home town, close and looks cute. The last time (two weeks ago) we... More

I recently had a super delicious burger at Sophia's. I generally thought of this as a breakfast place, but decided to give it a try for lunch, and I was not disappointed! Fresh ingredients, burger patty made from scratch, tasty soup to go with it. Sophia's is located in a converted house north of downtown Loveland, and this unique atmosphere... More

Sofia's has excellent food and has a special dinner menu almost every night. The cuisine can be generalized as continental but the dishes are so varied that they aren't easily categorized. The service is excellent, professional and prompt. The wine list is more than ample and representative. The dinner atmosphere is romantic and quiet. They also serve a Sunday brunch... More

Had a late lunch with family and almost every order was disappointing. The owner said he lost his cook and two others. He had a new cook and that was why things weren't going well. We did get a credit to the bill which was fair. My son said he always had good meals before. May try again... We'll see.

A group of ladies decided to do Sunday brunch - 5 in all - All really jazzed up to try the new restaurant with a seemingly wonderful looking menu! Two of us ordered eggs benedict.. One was with the soft shell crabs – both dishes were cold to the touch upon arrival– the eggs were all over done, no yolk... More
