What fun! On Saturday nights, there is now a piano player. For free. (Well, we should tip him, of course—and he’s worth it. He’s funny, and a great piano player and singer.) The menu also looks new. I used great control and ordered a salad, but then from my companions I snitched bites of fresh, grilled tuna with some kind... More

We just stopped in to take advantage of a complimentary drink ticket. The service was prompt and friendly.

They've changed the menu since my last visit and I think I like the new menu much better. I definitely like the truffle fries the best. Nice people.

I was really impressed at Monroe's....a really beautiful lounge with a small dining area but with elevated tiers giving it a unique look. This is not your ordinary restaurant, so if you are looking for something different this would do the trick. Located inside the Best Western Plus Hotel at the I-25/Rt 34 intersection, the food is fantastic....I've had the... More

More often than not, the only way you'd ever step foot inside a hotel restaurant is if is a 5-star hotel or if you are looking for a nightcap (after dinner elsewhere) before retiring to your hotel room. If you agree with this assesment you'd certainly be missing something special if you walked right on by Monroe's Lounge. Monroe's is... More

The upscale decor reminds me of much more expensive restaurants, and the young waitress gave me a warm welcome. Good start. Both times I was there the place was filled with locals—good sign. Good martinis, bbq wings, portobello mushroom burger, and molten chocolate cake. I asked to substitute the fries and instead got a generous side of perfectly cooked, fresh,... More

If I could give this place less than 1 point I would! If you want to see the manager get plastered with the bartender, get a dirty look for asking for a cup of coffee, and get completely ignored because you do not order dinner this is the place for you. My fiancee' and I went in for a night cap... More
