This is a delightful, local, funky restaurant in Louisville, that not only has great breakfasts, but also serve a wonderful afternoon tea. Tea is served just off the main entry with crystal chandeliers and a fireplace, that not only lend to the room an elegant touch, but also adds to a cozy, Victorian charm. I could not believe how accommodating... More

Have to often wait a while for a table on the weekend, but always a tasty breakfast. In season, it's nice to sit on the back patio. Have mimosa and Eggs Benedict. Making myself hungry.

The food is great...for the most part the atmosphere is great, it is a noisy, energetic restaurant that always requires a wait of up to an hour (at peak times)....but we don't mind, we just browse the bookstore next door for a while. The only issue we had this visit, which has never been an issue before, is that they... More

Great Sunday brunch atmosphere, especially on the patio on a beautiful Sunday afternoon or cozy indoors on a cold snowy day. Egg dishes are very good. My husband had the frittata & I enjoyed the crepes. Their pies are freshly baked & a treat to take home. Overall, we had a pleasant experience & look forward to a return visit.

I had a salmon eggs Benedict. Good stuff although I would prefer lochs instead of poached salmon. Great bacon great potatoes great sour dough toast and pretty good green chile, but no pork in in that. Really liked this restaurant for it great interior and ambience. I would stop here again.

Four of us ate the the Huckleberry twice during the week of Nov 10, 2014. All four of us loved the food and service. The Chicken Pot Pie was delicious as was the steak on Steak Night. On a very cold (4 degree) November evening we entered and I jokingly said, a table by the fire please. The staff immediately... More

I feel like the Huckleberry was aiming for cute and quirky and *just* missed it. It is in a converted corner house and still feels like it with several separate rooms leading from the reception and can sometimes feel a little awkward or cramped. Having said that it is mostly very comfortable and has something to offer the whole family,... More

Charming, cozy environment with friendly service. Pretty good coffee and large menu. Downside is that the food just didn't live up to the hype. Hash browns were uninspired and bland. My husband had one of their scramlets and, unfortunately, the eggs were watery and not very appealing to look at either. Prices were competitive. Maybe an off day?

I ordered eggplant stack with polenta and sun dried tomatoes with a glass of wine. I would definitely get that again. My husband had had an amazing combination of bacon wrapped shrimp fresh spinach, mash potatoes. sauce. Everything we ordered tasted excellent. I came here before I moved to Louisville 6 years ago. This is the quintessential local Louisville Restaurant.... More

Had a delicious breakfast before a cake testing for my daughter's wedding. All the selections were delicious. My favorite was the chocolate with salt caramel. The reception attendees were raving about how delicious the desserts were.
