Four of us ate the the Huckleberry twice during the week of Nov 10, 2014. All four of us loved the food and service. The Chicken Pot Pie was delicious as was the steak on Steak Night. On a very cold (4 degree) November evening we entered and I jokingly said, a table by the fire please. The staff immediately... More

I feel like the Huckleberry was aiming for cute and quirky and *just* missed it. It is in a converted corner house and still feels like it with several separate rooms leading from the reception and can sometimes feel a little awkward or cramped. Having said that it is mostly very comfortable and has something to offer the whole family,... More

Charming, cozy environment with friendly service. Pretty good coffee and large menu. Downside is that the food just didn't live up to the hype. Hash browns were uninspired and bland. My husband had one of their scramlets and, unfortunately, the eggs were watery and not very appealing to look at either. Prices were competitive. Maybe an off day?

I ordered eggplant stack with polenta and sun dried tomatoes with a glass of wine. I would definitely get that again. My husband had had an amazing combination of bacon wrapped shrimp fresh spinach, mash potatoes. sauce. Everything we ordered tasted excellent. I came here before I moved to Louisville 6 years ago. This is the quintessential local Louisville Restaurant.... More

Had a delicious breakfast before a cake testing for my daughter's wedding. All the selections were delicious. My favorite was the chocolate with salt caramel. The reception attendees were raving about how delicious the desserts were.

This place is known for their brunch and awesome it is too. However it is less well know for its dinner menu. Compared with the rest of Louisville the Huckleberry often gets overlooked for more trendy restaurants. However the food is generally very good. I have had a couple of times where I have been disappointed with the steak but... More

I've been here quite a few times and the food is average. The biggest problem for me is that the manager (man) walks by your table constantly looking at you... If you want to catch up with a friend and linger over coffee, don't go. When it's busy he's more concerned about flipping that table than with the customer.

Very cute place located a lovely downtown area. Staff was friendly upon arrival but the service was just ok. We ordered the yogurt and granola, the country breakfast and the French toast. All was good and presented well but took a while to come to the table. The coffee unfortunately was awful. I drank the first cup hoping I would... More

We are never disappointed when we dine here. Ask for Hannah...she is amazing. Food is plentiful and fresh. Reasonable prices in a cute dining room. We are from Nebraska but come to Louisville several times a year. This is a great place to meet clients, employees, or dine with family. We like the wild blueberry pancakes and the breakfast burrito... More
