a favorite for breakfast in Louisville

Huckleberry offers excellent breakfast and friendly service. The menu has all the typical American favorites but at the same time, it is distinguished from other breakfast places.

Went with family while on vacation. Food was very good. Artichoke dip was delish, the little piece of bread they had with it were awesome. All the food was very good. My wife got the rotisserie chicken, and let me have a bite. After having that bite, I wish I would have gotten it instead. My meal was very good,... More

You can't miss the purple building on the corner. You can sit out front café style, in the back patio, or inside in one of the 5 rooms. Wait staff is great, friendly, efficient and the food is always good. I love the pot roast hash for breakfast, the chai, and the lattés. For lunch, the salmon salad is something... More

The Huck is an institution in Louisville, with people coming from surrounding areas to frequent this place. The food is well executed stables for a american brunch place and the place has a lot of character. There is usually a queue to get in all weekend until mid afternoon, and they are very slow to seat people even when there... More

We originally stopped by to pick up a loaf of their gluten-free bread (which I had tasted at their sister restaurant, the Dushanbe Teahouse in Boulder). It was getting late so we decided to try dinner. Good choice! The trout was very well prepared and tasty. The 'fingerling potatoes' were actually semi-baked and tasted like thick French Fries only some... More

Huckleberry is a one-of -a-kind place in an old building with lots of character. They have huckleberry items on the menu and on the walls. You can have tea (lots of varieties) by the fireplace. Get there early as it fills up for lunch and dinner. Ive been about four times now and tried and liked their burger, chicken pot... More

For starters, the coffee was very weak...see through the cup variety. A lot of conversation buzz at a level of distraction. The corn beef hash was cubed meat with prepared potatoes thrown on top. Biscuit was served without any butter or jams on the table. Eggs over easy were firm. My wife had the crab Benedict and enjoyed them, but... More

I requested a good breakfast place between Ft Collins and DIA, and my parents brought me here. A bit out of the way, but completely worth it. I ordered Mexican Scramble w/ Chorizo, and loved it, especially the breakfast potatoes. My father said his were overcooked and chewy, so maybe different preferences or a just inconsistency. I was able to... More
