Always more food than you think

A fun place to gather with family or friends. I always think I am going to leave hungry and yet that has never been the case. They use decent quality of food and the cooking and dipping you do is part of the fun and charm.

While visiting friends in Denver we spent the day in Boulder and then hit the Melting Pot in Louisville for dinner. My wife and I and our adult friends had been to other Melting Pot locations, but our friends' children had not. Since there were 8 of us we ordered quite a variety. It was truly priceless to see the... More

I don't know that it's worth the money but it's a nice night out. This isn't the kind of restaurant you visit all the time. I'd recommend it if you've never had fondue just to do it.

Melting Pot is always a nice experience. We had a good anniversary dinner. Our waiter was very good and the food was awesome. The portions are large so make sure you are hungry! I recommend the 4 course meals. It is a little pricey but it is a 2 hour experience. I like how you are able to have roses... More

Our family Of four loves the Melting Pot. It's a favorite of our two girls (middle school and elementary school ages). The servers are always helpful and friendly. The Big Night Out includes your choice of cheese fondue (classic alpine, cheddar, fiesta and Wisconsin all great), a small salad (they've wisely downsized the salads), your entree (we prefer the mojo... The food here (specifically the wisconsin cheddar and swiss beer cheese fondue, and chocolate desert plates) are fantastic! The ambience is excellent, and the service is wonderful. Warm and inviting staff are always concerned we have a great experience. Louisville is also one of those wonderful little towns to explore as well (consistently on Money magazine's list of top places... More

My husband, son and I went to the Melting Pot to celebrate my son's returned home from Cadet Leadership Course at Ft. Knox, a month - long event for Army cadets. We mentioned this to our waiter. The meal was excellent as usual. My son savored each bite after eating mostly MREs for a month. When we received our check,... More

This is a romantic atmosphere and the food is good. In all fairness, I'm not a huge fondue fan, so take that into consideration.

If you have a large credit card limit and want something a little different, it's not a bad place for special occasions - but if you want a really good meal for the same amount of money, there are plenty of top end restaurants in the area that charge much less for much better food... with drink and tip, you're... I don't know how this place has survived in a town known for its restaurants; it is very expensive, not very clean and the food products seemed to from cans. Service was acceptable but not great ....young inexperienced staff.
