The defining feature of the food here is fresh...and I'm pretty sure the guy cooking behind the counter was the owners, who had the courtesy of thanking us for dining there. Why only four stars? Visited this place for lunch on a Sunday and were very attracted to the atmosphere and staff. Modern motif and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Had a ham and cheese omelet and it was fuffy and tasted just right. The had a piece of chocolate pecan pit because it was highly recommended. The pie seemed to be a... More

This restaurant has such possibility, but the wait staff seemed tired and inattentive, and it was at 11:15 a.m. that my friend and I had lunch! My friend said her salad was "wilty" and her soup (potato leek) wasn't anything to get excited about. I had their homemade corned beef hash with two eggs over easy. The eggs were fine.... More

I love this place. Very consistent food prep. Friendly service. Varied menu that specializes in breakfast and lunch items. Paul, the owner, can usually be found behind the counter preparing each dish for the customers. It's located in a quirky neighborhood that you have to see to believe. The decor is straight out of 1955. I've never been disappointed whenever... More

Small, loud, with a bar that allows you to sit and watch the food being cooked. This is the place to get your eggs and bacon, or even a slightly more sophisticated lunch. Nothing fancy, but good food and good sized portions.

My wife and I meet up with friends and had breakfast. Our service was great fast and friendly. The food was average. My wife did not like the eggs Benedict. She said the sauce did not taste like Benedict sauce. The pancakes are huge and the paper bacon is very good. I did not have an omelet but they look... More

On my to do list whilst visiting Colorado was breakfast in a diner, and this did not disappoint, helpful staff, prompt refills, great menu and a good choice of specials, not too heavy or greasy with a nice buzzy atmosphere

Great food! great wait staff! Great diner vibe! I love coming here, just don't do it often enough. I have come here for breakfast and lunch, and have yet to order something I didn't love. It's one of Prospect's gems.

We stopped here for dinner dining. We were greeted just at the door by a surly lady stating they were closed for the day. Their hours on the door stated that were open for evening dining. The claim was that they have changed their hours, but there was no posting on the door for a change of hours. We certainly... More
