Went for birthday dinner. Very impressed with both menu and service. It's a bit spendy, but worth the money.

Stopped in for happy hour and have been back for dinner twice since. It is an innovative farm to table menu with an interesting delicious sessional menu .A well rounded wine selection and and the staff is adorable to top it all off.

We are in town for a music festival full of campers, kids, and all day hot sun and decided to sophisticate ourselves with a local place. I find Longmont has an interesting mix of local eateries along with lots and lots of chain restaurants. We checked the reviews for Sugarbeet and decided we're in. The location is in the business... We had heard good things about the Sugarbeet. In their favor, their protein portions were generous. The ahi entree had two nice pieces of tuna, thick and very tender and good. But the flavor of the sauce was overpowering and did not compliment the ahi at all. Sauce flavors included a combination of chili powder, basil, and something sweet but... More

We dined at Sugarbeet tonight for the first time. We are fortunate to have our choice of very fine restaurants in the Longmont/Boulder area, but we chose Sugarbeet based on their reputation and positive reviews on Tripadvisor. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and were anticipating a top notch experience. Everything started out fine after we arrived for our reservation... More

We were there, party of four Thursday July 30th, promptly at 5 pm! Why 5 pm? Well that is still their HAPPY HOUR for snacks and drinks at half price. You really do not want to miss this OUTSTANDING BOULDER AREA HAPPY HOUR! As appetizer I had an excellent selection of SHUCKED OYSTERS. I thought I was on the coast... More

Sugarbeets is in a weird location but great food for Longmont. We meet our family from Northern Colorado here to split the difference and they are always pleasantly surprised.

We had a really great dinner overall. My husband had the lamb which was very fatty and I had the steak which was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is really nice and we went on a week day and it was not very busy. Our service was excellent. It was a little pricey for the portions.

You WILL need a reservation. There is a bar/cocktail area, and you could chance it, but I would definitely not chance this! The food is great, nice menu, a plethora of daily specials, too. It is very obvious to me the Owner of Sugar Beet takes great personal interest and care of those who choose his fine establishment. Eclectic drink... More
