This used to be a 5-star restaurant, always leaving us wanting to come back again. The last two times we ate here, we could not help but notice that the food went from outstanding to competent; still good but certainly nothing exceptional, and nothing that we would look forward to ordering again. And the prices went up a lot. The... More

We all felt this was on of the best meals we had enjoyed in a long time. The atmosphere is very classy but we felt right at home in our Teva's and zip off pants. The food was delicious and the portions were large. It is not cheap. About $150 for the four of us but we all felt it... More

Sugarbeet is a culinary gem, and one of the few excellent restaurants in Longmont. The food is creative, farm fresh and delicious. They can rival any place in Boulder. Highly recommended!

The chefs at Sugarbeat are among the best. The menu selections are exceptional with many local grown vegetables. The seafood and meats are the highest quality, I had oysters on half shell , with several choices to choose from. They werwe very fresh. I thought I would stick to seafood as the oysters were so good. I had a choice... More

We ate at this restaurant years ago and thought it was okay but went back tonight and it was really superb! The waitperson, Rachael was great, so friendly and helpful and served each course very timely. Gave us good advise when we asked. Nice lady. The food was excellent quality and so well prepared. Very generous quantities. My husband had... More

The Sugar Beet is excellent. Their food choices are delicious and different. We love going for their small plate specials between 4-6 pm. Great food and great wine. We believe it is also the best "special occasion" restaurant in Longmont.

Wonderful gem in Northern Colorado. We celebrated our Anniversary and it was prefect for our date night. They have done a decent job for the decor and they have attempted to reduce the noise with acoustic soundproofing on the ceiling, but its still loud. Overshadowing the setting is one of the best menus we have encountered. I would argue that... More

Wife and I went for early dinner Saturday dinner (hate the Saturday rush hour experience as a rule). Everything seemed terrific to us. Been to great Seattle places: shucked oysters here were top notch. Had moulle frites in Brussels: the mussels in a tomato blood orange broth with chorizo were different yet amazingly good. The Colorado lamb shank compared favorably... More

location: as mentioned by others this is not a restaurant that is right there for all to see on the main street of the cute town of Longmont. it is, however, well worth looking for! we had no trouble locating it using Google Maps on my phone and our companions had no trouble using the iPhone maps application. don't let... Business travel took me to Longmont, CO and I knew nothing about the town. I took a stab at a restaurant named Sugarbeet and was rewarded with an incredible meal. This place was little difficult to find using a maps app but it was worth the trouble. I had a lamb shank entree anda salad that were superb. The wine... More
