We eat here very often - at least once every 10-14 days. Their food is like El Paso's - border Mex. Just like home! Great service, very friendly & fast, and can special order any meal & they serve with a smile. Their prices are reasonable, and their food comes out steaming hot every time. Their enchilladas, chile rellenos, tacos... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant. Noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant upon entering. We were immediately seated and had our drink within a few minutes! Impeccable service! Our waiter rivaled the best waiters at fine dining restaurants. He was phenomenal! Shrimp fajitas were out of this world. Vegetables sauteed perfectly. The waiter even encouraged a dish with a choice of authentic... More

Mexican food has always been my favorite food, and Las Palmeras is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area because it has a very large choice of selections on the menu, great chips and salsa, and reasonably priced drinks. Their grilled fish tacos are among the best I have had, though I default to the steak burrito most of... More

We got to the restaurant and it was pretty slow about 5 tables eating total. When we sat down we waited atleast 15 min to be offered a drink after that another 10 to 15 to ask what we wanted to eat. When we finally got our food it was disqusting, the shrimp tasted like it was cooked in the... More

We went into this restaurant for a date night. The food was average at best. I ordered chicken mole and the sauce was virtually a light red enchilada sauce. The portion was a decent size. The price and the chips and salsa were good. My husband ordered the fish tacos which were special. That should've been the giveaway that they... More

Just tried this place for first and last time...$19.50 fajitas for two barely feeds one...onions/peppers slightly burned, steak not marinaded, lettuce/pico limp and seemed at least a day old. Very poor, won't be going back. The wonderful Guanajuato in Milwaukee is sadly missed!!! Other reviews here look like the owner wrote them, incidentally

The food and the service at Las Palmeras is second to none. It is authentic Mexican food, everything is cooked to order and is the most delicious of all Mexican restaurants in the entire area. The owner is actually one of the cooks, it is a family owned restaurant and the atmosphere is fantastic. If there is something not on... More

Went in with a large group. They put 4 or 5 tables together to seat all of us. Not good accommodations for large groups. Chips were similar to what you get in 7-11 nachos. Cheap and nasty. I ordered the steak burrito which I ate half of and then had them throw the rest out. Service was horrible. My dad... More

While the service is a little slow and non-chalant, the food is wonderful. Enchiladas are particularly good. You know a good place when the sides are great. For example, unlike the routine refried beans you would expect at most places, you could make a meal of their beans alone they are so good. Would definitely go again.

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS AROUND! I can not say enough about these burritos, they are absolutely amazing, i never get sick of them, and can eat them 24/7. I went to school in longmont, but I am an Estes Park Native and i will drive down there at least once a week to buy one. So amazing! And they people are... More
