Excellent food, just what you would expect of a large restaurant in the downtown/old town area of Longmont. Great burgers, awesome sandwiches, salmon, steak, the usuals. But what really makes the Pumphouse special is the atmosphere. It is friendly and just short of frat house. It is college fun for grown ups. I dont do beer but there were plenty... More

A friend and I shared a huge plate of shredded chicken nachos that were the best!! One person could not have eaten that plate. We had a table outside on the patio. So nice, although we arrived right as the sun was setting so the lighting outside was very poor to look at the menu. Just really enjoyed the atmosphere,... More

My son and his wife took us to one of their favorite restaurants for our last night in town and we weren't disappointed. They had some of their favorites while I decided to try the pistachio encrusted salmon which was excellent. The Mexican fare was great and the fried shrimp just about melted in your mouth. We were all pleased... More

The atmosphere is fun, although very loud. Nice outdoor seating w/heaters, but again, very loud (right on Main Street/Hwy 287). Food is typical pub food w/very little creative gluten free options.

There were five of us and everyone thought the food was tasty. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. I was concerned ordering that it wouldn't be enough for dinner. That concern soon ended when it arrived. The sucker was huge. One of the best salads I've had anywhere. My better half ordered the chile rellenos. Another huge portion and tasty.

For lunch at the Pumphouse, I ordered a burger, standard pub fair. But the overall experience of the humble hamburger here was amazing - I think it was the backyard BBQ flavor along with the balance of flavors of the toppings against the beef. When the server asked me how I was doing, I had to say, "I'm having a... More

I am local and hit PH about 1x per month. Always a great place for a beer, with great drink specials and seasonal taps. Food is hit or miss. Some things are fantastic...apps, burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos...other things like the entrees are a bit overpriced and blah...so I just have learned to stay away from them. Never have food specials.... More

From the summer specials to the regulars, the brew list here is quite extensive. Cool atmosphere, and for the most part attentive service. Old firehouse with outdoor seating on the street - always crowded out there in the summer and great for people watching. I love the fish and chips, my wife loves the salads. Nice selection of desserts. I... More

This place is a converted firehouse and is loaded with related memorabilia. Pretty cool decor, too. Wife and I stopped in for a few beers, and most of them were excellent. Boise-Payette Best Bitter, Red Alert Amber Ale, Flashpoint IPA, and 18th Anniversary Ale were all wonderful and I rated each 4 of 5 stars. The exceptions were Wildland Sour... More
