There were five of us and everyone thought the food was tasty. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. I was concerned ordering that it wouldn't be enough for dinner. That concern soon ended when it arrived. The sucker was huge. One of the best salads I've had anywhere. My better half ordered the chile rellenos. Another huge portion and tasty.

We recently celebrated family birthdays at the Pumphouse and everyone was very pleased with their meals.

For lunch at the Pumphouse, I ordered a burger, standard pub fair. But the overall experience of the humble hamburger here was amazing - I think it was the backyard BBQ flavor along with the balance of flavors of the toppings against the beef. When the server asked me how I was doing, I had to say, "I'm having a... More

I am local and hit PH about 1x per month. Always a great place for a beer, with great drink specials and seasonal taps. Food is hit or miss. Some things are fantastic...apps, burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos...other things like the entrees are a bit overpriced and blah...so I just have learned to stay away from them. Never have food specials.... More

From the summer specials to the regulars, the brew list here is quite extensive. Cool atmosphere, and for the most part attentive service. Old firehouse with outdoor seating on the street - always crowded out there in the summer and great for people watching. I love the fish and chips, my wife loves the salads. Nice selection of desserts. I... More

This place is a converted firehouse and is loaded with related memorabilia. Pretty cool decor, too. Wife and I stopped in for a few beers, and most of them were excellent. Boise-Payette Best Bitter, Red Alert Amber Ale, Flashpoint IPA, and 18th Anniversary Ale were all wonderful and I rated each 4 of 5 stars. The exceptions were Wildland Sour... More

The food is delicious and the beer is excellent. If you like Amber Ales get the Red Alert. It is delicious. The chicken fried chicken is also delicious. Get there early though. It gets packed.

You certainly get your money's worth here. The menu is quite extensive including various different types if sandwiches such as muffaletta, hot pastrami, wraps etc. also included in the menu is 10 different burgers to choose from. We tried the beer cheese soup which was terrific. My husband had a beer flight and thoroughly enjoyed the beer. This restaurant has... More

In last Saturday and a tip was added to my bill by the cashier after I left. Called the manager and he was quite rude and said it was an honest mistake which I doubt. Won't be going back.

I like this place for lunch. Nice patio out front but a little loud with the Main Street traffic. The Red Zone is nice on Fridays. Good Mexican food and tuna appetizer.
