My favorite breakfast in longmont

This is my go-to place in Longmont for breakfast or brunch. I typically go during the week with friends so we never have to wait. I imagine if you get there before 9am on the weekend, you won't have to wait. I love the coziness at Lucile's. I love how everything including the jam and ketchup are... read more

While visiting a friend in Longmont, one morning we decided to go out to breakfast. She said Lucile's was the place to go. The food was delicious. The biscuits that are served before you eat were enormous and delicious. Our waitress was very cordial and very efficient at refilling our coffee cups. The amount of food is quite adequate. The... Worth the wait on a Sunday morning! Delicious breakfasts for all four of us. My Eggs Rockefeller and grits were off the wall delicious and my wife loved her egg New Orleans. The French press Haitian coffee was perfect. We will be back for more as we work our way through the menu!

The place isn't that pretty. I had blackened salmon which comes with potatoes, a huge biscuit, eggs and grits. The salmon was too greasy, the potatoes were good but the spices were too strong to the point that I had the flavor of them til the afternoon, the eggs, grit and biscuit were good though. What I didn't understand is... More

Everything is homemade and delicious. It's a great spot for brunch with a nice atmosphere in an older house in downtown Longmont.

Relatives visiting? Special occasion? Need a treat? Go to Lucille's! Homemade jams, syrup, apple butter, ketchup etc. Absolutely love the Eggs Pontchartrain! Oooooh Cuban or Bloody Maria! Amazing. Had to get the recipe to make them at home.

This is a charming Creole restaurant. The service was very friendly and efficient. The ambience is very much southern or New Orleans. Having lived in New Orleans for many years, we know a little about the genuine article. The shrimp Po Boy was very good but not exactly typical. It's the best Po Boy that I've had locally. The jellies... More

I am usually reluctant to give a restaurant an ‘Excellent’ rating unless I am completely awed by it. But it would be unfair to give Lucile’s a ‘Very Good’ rating, especially after dining here twice recently and having been more than pleased by the food and the service. Both are excellent. The food is freshly prepared, hot, tasty and well... More

My sister was visiting from Montana and we decided on a long day of shopping and wanted a good breakfast to start the day. I had never been to Lucile's and we actually found it by accident. It looked really busy, so I thought it was probably a good place since it seemed really popular. We sat at the bar,... More
