Hidden treasure

We descended on this place close to closing time with a group of 8. In spite of the lateness of the hour we were treated graciously and the kitchen was quick to whip up all that we asked for. The price was more than reasonable. We fed everyone for less than 100 dollars. The service was quick and... read more

I've eaten at the Ajuua restaurants in Aurora and Niwot, Colorado. Let me tell you: do yourself a favor and order the chorizo con queso appetizer. My partner had the flautas and enchiladas for dinner at the Aurora location; I tried the chicken chimichanga in Niwot. Great service, friendly and family-oriented environment. Pass on the margaritas and instead order a... More

Possibly the worst refried beans in the county, watery and over processed. Some melted cheese on top didn't help. Flavorless rice, ordinary burrito with dry chicken breast. Surprisingly, the green chili was quite good. Good service.

Fun, friendly place with lots of choices. Relaxed atmosphere. Okay food but reasonable prices. Lots of locals and no long waits to be seated.

The food was mediocre, the service was surly and we were totally dissatisfied with our experience there. I would never go back to this restaurant.

I eat at Ajuua weekly at lunchtime. I don't know anywhere in the Boulder area where you can get a chicken burrito with rice and beans, a drink and chips and salsa for $7.50. That's if its on special. If not, you may have to fork out another $1.50. I'd also recommend the breakfast items, especially the burritos, served all... More

I ate at Ajuua for lunch. I ordered the daily special, carnitas burrito with beans and rice. The special came with a drink for $7. There was plenty of food and it was all good. The burrito did not come with sour cream or lettuce on top, which was available for an extra charge. I decided to go with the... More

If I could, I would have given 3.5 stars rather than 4. It is better than "average", but not quite "very good". Good Mexican Food with typical menu options. Service is good and pleasant. The restaurant is a bit small and the tables are close together with a bit of a crowded feel. It is convenient to local residents and... More

Went with a large group 2 weeks ago and ordered the Margarita pitchers and the large appetizer platters. Very happy with the food and the drinks. Returned with my husband after work today and had two full meals, both very good and large portions. We had the house Margaritas by the glass and they were good too. if you want... More
