Best Seafood Ever!

Hard to believe this far from any ocean you could get great seafood in mountain country --- but trust me you can and this is the place! My wife had a sea bass and I had swordfish and they were perfect; and I mean perfect. Great mango salsa and the rice & beans were spot on. Service was attentive... read more

Some how the folks at Tortuga's have set up a really good fish restaurant in Longmont. They have a lot more than just fish if you don't feel like sea food. It's nice to sit outside in their courtyard on a warm evening.

One of the better restaurants in Longmont. Several gluten free options. Delicious seafood prepared in 5 different finishes. I got the mojo finished swordfish. Bright and light flavors of lime, chili, cilantro. Perfectly cooked and seasoned black beans. Don't miss the plantains with guacamole. Decent, although not extensive wine list. Atmosphere inside is fine. A bit scarce and informal. In... More

We had the good fortune of dining at Tortuga's last night. I ordered their special from the nightly board - the Grouper crusted with potato and crab - sauteed and baked. Yummy, nice flavors, baked to perfection. Food came out steaming hot and the service was excellent. I am so glad we went their again. Prices run $15 - 30.00... More

Located in a cute little 100 year old house across from the Longmont Post Office. I sat near the burning fireplace, very cozy. I understand the outside patio is great fun in the summer. This is Seafood with an attitude. Most dishes are Island and Cajun infused. I had Fresh Grouper perfectly prepared. The Grouper Entree was $30.00, with an... More

We have been going to Tortuga's for years and have always enjoyed their seafood. Tortuga's always offers a seasonal fresh catch of the day with various preparations: Cuban Mojo, Vera Cruz and Jamaican Jerk. Each preparation is unique and complements the fish without overpowering. In addition there is usually a special seafood dish offered with other seasonal side items. The... More

We have enjoyed seafood all over the world; this is one of the best. Preparation is great and the sides do not overpower the premium seafood.

You won't find fresher fish anywhere else in CO. There are always a few catches of the day that are available with different preparations and a few other specials - you have quite a bit of leeway to create your own taste. Three visits overall and we've always been happy with the food quality, choices & specials, and the service.... More

I recently had a business dinner here and it was very enjoyable. It is marketed as a Cajun type restaurant so being from New Orleans I was skeptical. However, the gumbo was excellent. The entree was very good (had tuna Vodoo style ) and lots of it. Now it was not spicy for me but still good. The beer selection... More
