Located in a cute little 100 year old house across from the Longmont Post Office. I sat near the burning fireplace, very cozy. I understand the outside patio is great fun in the summer. This is Seafood with an attitude. Most dishes are Island and Cajun infused. I had Fresh Grouper perfectly prepared. The Grouper Entree was $30.00, with an... More

We have been going to Tortuga's for years and have always enjoyed their seafood. Tortuga's always offers a seasonal fresh catch of the day with various preparations: Cuban Mojo, Vera Cruz and Jamaican Jerk. Each preparation is unique and complements the fish without overpowering. In addition there is usually a special seafood dish offered with other seasonal side items. The... More

We have enjoyed seafood all over the world; this is one of the best. Preparation is great and the sides do not overpower the premium seafood.

You won't find fresher fish anywhere else in CO. There are always a few catches of the day that are available with different preparations and a few other specials - you have quite a bit of leeway to create your own taste. Three visits overall and we've always been happy with the food quality, choices & specials, and the service.... More

I recently had a business dinner here and it was very enjoyable. It is marketed as a Cajun type restaurant so being from New Orleans I was skeptical. However, the gumbo was excellent. The entree was very good (had tuna Vodoo style ) and lots of it. Now it was not spicy for me but still good. The beer selection... More

This is one of our favorite dining spots in our home town. Fish is the specialty, but there are a few other options if you are dining with a non-fisheater. Ambiance is comfortable -- in a former home. We especially like it in the summer when they have a wonderful dining patio under trees. Indoors, see if you can get... More

We were not expecting to find Caribbean food in Longmont Colorado, but then there's Tortuga's, on a side street in a charming house. The grouper was tasty and beautifully prepared. Tortuga's is a fish house but even a fish phobic person will find plenty to eat. Service was friendly and attentive. We were surprised and delighted with our experience there.

Last time I was here was not long after they opened 20 years ago. A restaurant has to be good to still be open this long. It's located in a residential area across from the post office. Not where you would think a restaurant would be located. They do have a nice patio with shade. We went on a Wednesday... More

I dined solo here about a week ago. They have a great patio that was shaded and tastefully decorated. The staff was completely pleasant without being obtrusive or over-accommodating. They are a bit on the pricey end, but the food execution is worth the price. Totally reasonable portions (although I was very hungry and ate all of my meal). The... More

One of the best restaurants in Boulder county. I don't know how Pete does it, but he cooks fish better than anyone, anywhere. It is always tender, flavorful and moist. His dishes have a caribbean flair, but are always creative and original. Expect a hint of spice.
