The Rib House has good bbq as far as the ribs go. They were tender and fell off the bone. You can choose your bbq sauce which is nice if you want it mild, medium or if you do want it spicy. The corn wasn't all it is advertised and I probably wouldn't order it again. The bar / dining... More

Great location, good BBQ, awesome french fries. They just added an awesome looking modern bar area as well. We usually go for the chopped brisket, either in a sandwich or by the pound.

Beautiful day sitting on the patio. We drove all the way from Ft. Collins to find this restaurant. Too bad food didn't add to experience. Sent meat back twice asking for meal worth the price. Meat should not be that tough in a BBQ restaurant! Third try got me the ribs (which were delicious). Owner wasn't interested in our experience... More

The Rib House has been a staple in the Prospect community of Longmont for many years - a nice place to have some decent BBQ, especially if the weather cooperates and you can eat outside on the patio... inside is OK but nothing special. The ribs, for which they stake their reputation on are a little different than what you... More

The rib house is situated in the small subdivision of Prospect in south Longmont. It has been a local favorite for many years. The portions are huge and the sides are are outstanding. I highly recommend the cheesy corn, chipotle potato salad or the coleslaw. You should not pass this restaurant up.

We stopped here for dinner on a drive home from Estes Park, and split a complete rack, with medium sauce. Holy mackerel, the line to order is completely understandable. GREAT food, great value, good service, comfortable casual atmosphere. Already looking forward to returning

Although somewhat hard to find--its in a new development south of Longmont--The Rib House was definitely worth the drive. Seriously good barbecued meets, including brisket and ends. Although very popular for takeout, there is a pleasant patio for outdoor dining. Only negative was the cheesy corn side-dish which had a slightly sour taste; everything else was delicious.

DH had seen an ad in the local paper for a $13 Buffet today. I called the restaurant when it opened, asked my questions and arrived around 1:30 PM. We had eaten here years before, when they first opened in the Prospect n'hood. The outside patio was inviting........several tables were filled. For whatever reason, the inside eating area does not... More

Beef and pork ribs were really great, and literally fell off the bone. Brisket, while good, was a little dry. They have great barbecue sauce, gluten free, if you are into that. The place is bigger than it looks from the front. It was a little confusing where to enter, but duh, the front gate opens. You place your order... More
