Although somewhat hard to find--its in a new development south of Longmont--The Rib House was definitely worth the drive. Seriously good barbecued meets, including brisket and ends. Although very popular for takeout, there is a pleasant patio for outdoor dining. Only negative was the cheesy corn side-dish which had a slightly sour taste; everything else was delicious.

DH had seen an ad in the local paper for a $13 Buffet today. I called the restaurant when it opened, asked my questions and arrived around 1:30 PM. We had eaten here years before, when they first opened in the Prospect n'hood. The outside patio was inviting........several tables were filled. For whatever reason, the inside eating area does not... More

Beef and pork ribs were really great, and literally fell off the bone. Brisket, while good, was a little dry. They have great barbecue sauce, gluten free, if you are into that. The place is bigger than it looks from the front. It was a little confusing where to enter, but duh, the front gate opens. You place your order... More

We've always enjoyed BBQ, especially when traveling down south. While I enjoy the dry rubbed Kansas City style, I just tend to leave feeling I have paid too much for the meal. Service tends to be somewhat cool and impersonal, in my experience. However, the ribs are very good!

This place has never been busy. It's pretty expensive, for what you get, and the ribs would never make it in the South. I keep coming back, hoping that my disappointing experiences are an anomaly, however, I'm 5 for 5 on mediocre ribs. If this place wasn't one of a handful of restaurants in Prospect, I doubt they'd exist. If... More

Without a doubt the best BarBQ in Colorado! The meat is fall off the bone, the flavor is excellent, the sauce is to die for, the sides are just what you would expect for BarBQ. The service is great. The atmosphere is also just perfect. I can't say enough good things about Chef Extraordinaire. Awesome!!

The sauce here is unique and tasty. The ribs were soft and falling off the bone. Cheesy corn, wow, my first time and this was tasty.

I have been to this place many times with my wife or with business associates. If you like smoked BBQ ribs Kansas City style, you will love this place! My wife and I ate here for the first time just after Merry Ann and Tracy opened it, and had to go up and tell them that we had lived in... More

My family and I decided to try the rib house on a friend's advice. We were horribly disappointed. The lady at the counter was very short with us; as if we were annoying her because we didn't know what we wanted right away. When we wanted a small sample of the burnt ends but they said they couldn't as they... More
