You are not going to do better for Mexican food in Longmont

First class breakfast and lunch perhaps less so for dinner; everything is good and some things are totally outstanding--for example the breakfast burritos.

The food, service and staff are the best. I go to Santiago's at least once per week. The food has always been excellent. I like that they keep to the family receipts. The green chili comes in three types of hot. Mild, for people like me. 1/2 and 1/2 for those that like a good bite from their chili. then... More

We went there after looking at reviews and wanted to try the smothered breakfast burrito. The place is very casual and rustic. Medium hot traslates to half and half of the mild and hot chili. The medium was spicey and at the edge of my desire for heat. It was very good and spicey. It was really smothered and enough chili for... More

Why people love this place. I think it's mediocre at best. I lived in San Diego for years and Mexican food there was good everywhere you went. Here it is lacking. Santiagos claim to fame is the hottest green chile in town. Well of you want to burn out your taste buds with flavorless hot chile than this is the... More

I have been going to Santiagos for years. Their breakfast burritos are legendary here. But if you haven't tried eating here for lunch or dinner, you are missing out. Their pork carnitas burritos are mind blowing. Green chile, fantastic. If you are cold and trying to warm up, try a bowl with half their green chile, half homemade refrieds and... More

For a couple of bucks you can get a filling, but not over sized, breakfast burrito with your choice of heat level. Plus, a huge cup of hot coffee for another buck. The service is speedy and you will be on your way with your food safely wrapped in foil ready to eat if you decide not to sit down... More

Visited this restaurant due to a coworker's recommendation. It is set up like a fast casual restaurant, but you actually order from a server. The service was terrible and the food was not impressive. The beans on my plate were cold, and when I politely asked for new ones they brought me a bowl of beans that were just as... More

From breakfast to dinner, excellent food. We love hot green chili, that's where we get it. You can mix & match mild, half & half, or hot.

Ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. Great ratio of meat to egg and gooey cheese. Under $3 for the burrito. Wrapper made it convenient to eat in the car.
