we used to eat here all the time for a nice big plate of cheap Mexican food- that is until we pulled a big vein out of our taco meat one time in a taco, and then, a piece of plastic wrap in it another time- we quit going there after that!!!!

We were looking for some good authentic Mexican food and picked Santiago's off the internet. I wish we would have found this restaurant on our first day in Longmont because I would have gone back every night. It's very affordable and our waitress was friendly and very helpful with suggestions from the menu. My mom had the Indian Taco and... More

Very consistent experience regardless of the location you go to. The green chili is awesome but be careful because the degree of hotness changes with each batch. This just makes the trip more exciting especially if you like hot.

The legendary Santiago's chain of restaurants Longmont location is on Main just south of downtown. The picture that Tripadvisor has here is a location that closed a few years ago, so don't go looking for a place that looks like that. The breakfast burritos are great and you get them really fast. They are not real big, and I would... More

I have never eaten in the restaurant. My husband picks up a variety of burritos which we freeze. Their breakfast burritos are great. I love the beef burrito. Prices are very good.

It was our first night in Longmont and we wanted to go to a good Mexican restaurant. Our hotel receptionist spoke highly of this place. My husband and his 2 co-workers joined us since they were there for a technology conference. Our waitress was friendly but she had no clue about Mexican food. The place was not fancy but we... More

We've been there twice. My husband gets the chili rellenos, which are quite good, and as another reviewer mentions the 1/2 hot and 1/2 mild chili verde is quite spicy. On the other hand, I ordered the mild chili verde on their three soft taquitos platter, and it had no heat whatsoever and very little flavor otherwise---no excuse for that.... More

My wife and I live in Denver Colorado and travel extensively in Northern Colorado. Santiago's has fantastic Mexican food and great prices. If you are going North or South on 1-25, it is worth getting off and driving 15 minutes into downtown Longmont. Green chili is wonderful!!

We stopped in the other day because of a friends recommendation. All we needed was some breakfast burritos to hold us over while hiking. Man were they good and so cheap at only $2 each. We got the half & half which were fairly spicey. Service was real quick with getting them to go but we then sat and ate... More

Santiago's has a great reputation for their food, and it is good. But they charge too much for the amount you get including for chips and salsa. I like Mexican, this is NOT my favorite place.
