Oskar Blues started in Lyons as a funky little brewpub with pub food upstairs and a bluegrass scene and bar downstairs. Then they got all successful. Now they are one of Colorado's craft brewer success stories, opened another and much bigger location in Longmont, and just opened a taco/margarita place in Longmont. The Longmont location seems to get a fair... More

Quality ingredients, tasty recipes, decent prices. The live music was nice, not too loud. The restaurant is on the noisy side but was not annoying, and I am picky about noise. I was in town on business by myself and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was crowded even at 8:00 PM. Waitress was friendly and helpful with making menu item... More

We were visiting my son in Colorado last week. Last time were here we made a point of going here, so, we made a point of going back. I think we did the right thing. The menu has many great items, but the portions are pretty generous. So, we waited to 3PM and ordered off their Happy Hour menu. It... More

This is a brew pub type place with good food and a wide selection of drinks and beers. The jumbalai was fantastic! The band which came later in the eveing upstairs was good, and even this old fart got up and danced. It was crowded but not over packed. The bar tending staff and wait staff were friendly and helpful.... More

Delicious eats...check. Lots of variety on the menu...check. Lots of beer on tap...check. A busy and loud atmosphere at times...check. Staff that is happy to work there...check. So basically it has all of the attributes of a popular restaurant. Looking for a place to relax and have a quiet conversation? This is probably not that place; instead you'll need to... More

There is a waiting period of 40 minutes just to go in and have a beer on a Friday or Holiday. They have one beer that is good, the Priscilla but the rest is just average Colorado beer. The food is average, nothing to write mom about. The service is average. This is not an exciting town, so anything average... More

Great food, super service, lots of fun. Also very noisy if hearing is a problem. Worth spending time and money there.

Was visiting family in Colorado. This was a good halfway point for families to meet between Denver and Fort Collins. We were able to get a large round table for the 12 of us, which is always better than a long table where you can't talk to everyone. Food was excellent and very different. Food is a Southern/New Orleans creole... More

Oskar Blues is a beer place. The food selection is oriented toward comfort/sports bar food. Our entrees were good but not great. Their wine selection is almost non-existent. However, they do offer lots and lots of different kinds of great beer in a fun and unusual atmosphere.
