Lee's Place as I refer to it is fabulous. He always has extremely fresh fish, lots of new sushi presentations, and the absolute best Coconut Cake for dessert you have ever tasted. I have been going to Iwayama since the day it opened now almost 7 years ago. Lee told me at the time that he wanted to know as... More

We have been here many times an although it is in a rundown strip mall with lots of interesting bars in it, this place stands out. The sushi is spectacular and Lee is very creative in his specials. The atmosphere is great, although on a Friday or Saturday night the "cozy" place can get busy and require quite a wait.... More

I have tried a number of sushi places in Denver and this place is the best that I have been to. We are now regulars here. What sets this place apart is the specials. The owner, Lee, likes to get creative with his rolls and they are wonderful. He seems to have new specials all the time and I have... More

Moving from Hawaii, it's so hard to find great fresh fish. These guys bring it in from Hawaii. This is my go to place when I'm craving some food from back home and way better than L&L. like kalbi and chicken katsu. And the sushi here is great too - from the usual to some great creations.

I live in Littleton and can tell you, it's quite a challenge to find a great place to eat. Iwayama's, is my GO-TO. Lee makes such good food and throws in all sorts of delicious specials (the coconut cake is simply to die for)! I travel a ton for work and have a very hard time finding sushi that even... More

Over priced warm not hot miso soup. Fridge cold bun on a $11.00 burger. Lots of fake crab. Not impressed.

Nice people. I've eaten here twice and each time was disappointed in the Hawaiian plate selection. The teriyaki chicken plate lunch was sub-average. The sauce was not grilled or baked in, so the results was a slimy feel to the chicken. The flavor was very average. It looked like the sushi was much better.

Lee is from Hawaii, and he does some special things with sushi! I hear the teriyaki is great, but my favorite is the Unari Bombs!! And the Fish Tacos are the best I have ever had. Walu is great too - a white Tuna. Its great for my wife and I to just go on a date, or bring the... More
