We were headed to Red Rocks and swung by this neighborhood for an early dinner. I started with a Happy Hour banana cream pie martini. Very good, but on the small side. A few sips and it was gone. The garlic cheese bread was enough for 3 of us and it was fine but not spectacular. We shared a pizza,... More

We had a good dinner at Virgilios. I was so happy to see that they had non-dairy cheese for their pizzas. The service was decent, but a little slow and not very attentive. They are always busy, so I cut them some slack for the lack of speed.

One of our favorite places to go in the summer to sit outside and relax with a bottle of wine and enjoy their pizza. Their meatballs are ALWAYS recommended as well as the garlic Knots! They have a fabulous wine bar with a broad range of price ranges depending on your wallet or mood. If you need to be seated... More

My only regret is that I have lived in the Denver metro area for 22 years and I did not go to this place before last weekend. Went with the whole family on the recommendation of friends. We ordered a wine special that was truly a good value (Plazzo Della Torre Veronese 2010). It came bundled with a wonderful roasted... More

Love the Penne Con Vodka! Restaurant can get busy in the mid evening but worth the wait. Its delicious and I eat there every time I am in town.

I think the biggest issue I've witnessed here has been consistency. Sometimes everything is really good, salads are fresh, pizza is good, excellent wait staff, and other times we'll go and pizza is soggy and the wait staff is rude. We live close and were so excited when this opened because we just don't have a good Italian place nearby.... More

I think that Virgillio's reputation is definately over-rated. I have ordered pizzas (of different variations) from them five times now and I find them to be below average. Based on the reviews, I kept wanting to give them another shot, hoping that my experience was not the norm. Unfortunately, the past three pizza's have been so dry that I had... More

Really enjoy the pizza from Virgilio's. The restaurant is conveniently located on Kipling near C-470. We generally order one "half cooked", and stop to pick it up on our way up to the mountains. Then we finish cooking it when we get to our place. Cooking dinner made easy. Sometimes we eat a pizza at the restaurant. Virgilio's pizza crust... More

The garlic knots everyone raved over I thought were average. They needed more garlic and the dough could nave been softer. We got a pizza 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage and mushroom. My husband and I both give the pizza a solid 4 stars. The server must have been having a really bad day because we tried to engage her... More

Met several long time friends for a reconnect and send off of a group member. We were able to order quickly and enjoy conversation with all of the group. The food was excellent but a little slow in getting all of the orders out. I think they just had a larger crowd than expected, but it was well worth the... More
