We always enjoy going to Merle's and dine there often. Good food, good service and good atmosphere -- Who can ask for more.

I met a couple girlfriends here for dinner tonight and it was fabulous! We had a great table on the rooftop and as the sun was setting they had shades they pulled down so the sun was not in your eyes but you could still see the mountains. It was beautiful! We had some great apps - Tuna Poke was... More

The best thing about the place is the ambiance. Otherwise, the service slow, the food not as described, cold and not very tasty, and the drinks watered down. Definitely got the impression all they care about is your money. Won't be going back.

Mere's felt like home the first time we went in. It was built in an old garage and still has the old roll up garage doors which are flung wide open when the weather is nice which turns the entire restaurant into outdoor seating -- some covered. Nestled into the very cute downtown area of Old Littleton, Merle's serves up... More

The selections are many and the food is delicious. Fun atmosphere. Service was good. Although, not exceptional. Thus, the reason for rating it very good, rather than excellent. Have been here several times and will return.

We like patronizing independent restaurants, and this was our third time at Merles. Sadly, we were just as disappointed this time as we have been before. We ordered fish and chips and fish tacos. When placing the order, we mentioned that the last time we ate there, our fries had been stale, and could they please make sure they were... More

Something about the building will strike you as different--especially if you don't read some of the signage inside. The big screen-covered windows are . . . whoa! they are garage doors! Okay, so the history of the building isn't that big a deal. But we've eaten there a hanful of times and have never been disappointed. Good selection, food prepared... More

I liked the service. The BBQ wings were really good and the Monte cristo was tasty. We got a burger with bacon. The bacon was so burnt it tasted like pure charcoal. The chicken fingers were made with white meat and the kids liked them and the fries.

Took my granddaughter there after a day in downtown Littleton, and having some fun at the Painted Platter. We were seated in a dark dingy area by the service station. Our server was somewhat knowledgeable of the menu but could have been a little more comfortable in his job. The food was average at best and took quite some time... More

...never CONSISTENTLY good. Service is about the same. They have a great menu, so it's unfortunate the entrees and burger are so "hit or miss". I ordered steak my last visit and I'm sorry to say the cook didn't know the difference between a ribeye and a ny strip (both menu options). I suppose they figured a customer wouldn't notice... More
