Good dinner after a long day

I stopped in for dinner after much driving west. Had the "Heaven Can Wait" chicken sandwich with steamed veggies. Very good sandwich. Veggies were good too, not overcooked. Service was very good to excellent. Seating in the bar was comfortable and the place was clean.

Had the prime rib sandwich. It was huge and perfectly cooked. Restaurant wasn't noisy or filled with TVs. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, decent service what more could one want?

We stopped in from Colorado Springs and were surprised by the variety in the menu, the warm welcome and excellent service. The food was delicious, we started with a meat lovers pizza, followed by meatloaf for my husband and a Southwestern pasta for me. All were outstanding. We ate in the bar area which felt warm and cozy and our... More

This restaurant is the only reason I stay over night in this town on my travels. Seriously. It has a great theme (Golden years of Hollywood), but the REAL reason is the amazing food, whether it's a burger, pasta, seafood, and especially their steaks. Every meal I've had there is GOOD!, and the steaks are done over a wood fired... More

After a long day traveling we looked forward to something other than fast food. We meant to go to Jenny's Mexican food and went in the wrong door and ended up in Oscars Bar & Grille and were glad we did. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The prime rib special was delicious. The loaded baked potato had real bacon.

We had been driving all day through KS and we stopped in Limon for the night. We were greeted and seated quickly. We sat in the diner area, which was cute and clean. All the young ladies who helped us were very nice. The food was delicious! We were starved and tired, so we were thankful to have such a... More

A surprisingly good meal in the middle of nowhere. Great hamburger and Reuben. Fries are amazing. Don't go to a fast food place when this is available.

There are several franchise eateries clustered around the truck stop and hotels. This place is a good alternative. Maverick's review below goes into detail and I couldn't have said it better. Especially that service was very friendly. Note that the bar area and dining room are separate so no problem bringing the family to the dining room.

We have just driven across the country from VA and eaten at alot of different places. Very casual place which was fine but service nothing great and the pasta dishes were less than average. Maybe should have gone with something different.

I get through Limon, Colorado about 2 times a year on my way to deliver Mercedes in Denver, and the TA next door is my fuel stop. Since, I dine alone I sit at the bar and find the atmosphere very relaxing to read while I'm waiting for food or eating. The salad bar is a self-serve and although all... More
