Looking for a local favorite this is it. Service is quick and friendly. The menu offers a wide variety of favorites. Family owned and operated. Off the main street but easily found.

Some of the other reviewers hit it spot on. Same old Mexican food. That doesn't mean it wasn't good. I had the stuffed sopapilla and it was really good. Seemed to be a favorite place for locals if that means anything. Service was a bit slow but there was only one waitress and she was working hard. Place is a... More

You know what they say about Mexican food...all the same ingredients served in a slightly different way. That's true of Casa Blanca. The food is adequate. The locals flock to the restaurant, though, and that's the real draw. The banter between waitresses, locals, owner and outsiders is worth the bland fare.

This was recommended to us by our motel as probably the best place to eat in Leadville and we agreed. It is in an converted house a half block off the main street near the south end of the business district. In other words, you probably wouldn't see it without looking for it and would probably pass it by unless... More

For the past 30 years my wife has been on a mission to find the best Chile Relleno in the Universe. A few days ago while on a quest for the spectacular changing Aspen leave we ended up in the highest (elevation, not consciousness) town in North America, the historic community of Leadville. It was late at night and the... More

Wow, $5 Margarita. We were happy with that alone and then came the food. It was so good! There is absolutely no atmosphere at this place, which seemed to be a very popular take out joint. However, the food is authentic and quite delicious. We were only in Town for one night and we made the right dining choice.

I love this place... The food is great and the prices aren't too high and the food isn't too spicy so you can take anyone there to eat!!! They are always friendly and are awesome when you bring your younger ones with you!!! I go there all the time I love it!!!!!

Best Mexican food in Leadville! I always order the same dish, stuffed sopapilla. And then order more plain to soak up the fabulous green chile!

Went for lunch the day before the LT100 ultra marathon, so they were very busy, but service was incredibly efficient. Food is hot, fast, and to my taste, traditional Colorado Mexican with refried beans, enchiladas, tostadas, etc. The green chili is great and the eggs in my huevos rancheros were done exactly over easy. Recommend sticking with beer or soda,... More

Red and Green chili were both excellent! Very clean, very good service. Stuffed sopapilla and cheese enchiladas were delicious.
