Good for a quick burger

I'm a local who occasionally grabs a burger at the spud. The burgers are good but the service can be painfully slow. It's convenient - no need to drive to Castle Rock or Monument. Of the sparse dining options in Larkspur, this is my first choice.

All clients are treated very well and leave with a smile on their faces. We are all happy with the prices as well as the taste of the food. Their soups are exceptional!

Nice Colorado atmosphere. Great chili rellenos and burgers. Another friend had the seared ahi salad - very nice -Cooked to order. Generous wine glasses. Excellent service.

Eat before you arrive! We waited over an hour for our order and we would have been better off just drinking! In this small town there are really only a few choices for food so it would be nice if this bar stepped up tp the plate!

Impressive, feeling of brand new restaurant in a small town. Our party of four all had different variations of a Patti-Melt. The sandwiches were delivered correctly, and all of us were satisfied.

You don't really have to wear spurs to eat or drink here. It's kind of a sports bar atmosphere with a local twist. They recently rennovated by building a brand new facility, keeping some of the rustic charm from their previous digs. Burgers are big and yummy. They offer several choices of brew and well drinks, prices are quite reasonable.... More

The food was cold and got order wrong multiple times. My friends and I are locals and liked the slur when it was smaller. Something convinent is that the park is across from it for the kids. It is good priced but the food is horrible always soggy, cold. Also not good service.

The Spur is an ok place, but it should be killing it given its location, new building, and lack of competition. Has a sterile feel, especially when there are so few customers there. Ok for a beer and a burger.

The Spur is a local hangout. If you want bar food then you've come to the right place. There is nothing fresh about this place. Everything comes from the freezer into the fryer. The atmosphere is less than appealing. Obviously I am not a fan.

Ordered Nachos, server asked if wanted beef or chicken. I said beef. Got Nachos, started eating, no meat. Not just a little meat... no meat at all. Advised server, she said would you like another order? Said, no thanks. Also, at 8:50, two bartenders started taking up the bar top mats and floor mats, and cleaning. By 9:00, they had... More
