Potential is there but execution was lacking. Cleanliness was an issue, pizza was greasy and overall was not impressed. Will not return.

If you like a ton of cheese on your pizza, then don't go to an Italian-style pizzeria! This place produces wonderful, authentic Italian pizza, where the focus is on the crust and the toppings are thin but fresh and each ingredient can be individually tasted. I would eat here too often if we lived in Lakewood. I agree that the... More

But not excellent. The atmosphere and menu are as expected. Slightly short on the wine list. Could offer some robust reds to match the pizza. Service is certainly a star. Friendly, very attentive and knowledgeable. Thought the crusts were superb and the toppings quite meager.

I love the community feel of Oven. They have long tables and a bar as the majority of the seating. This was my second visit and I loved it as much as I did the first time. The pizza is more Italian than American and all the ingredients taste fresh and don't leave that greasy coating in your mouth. When... More

We have eaten there numerous times and it is always good, hot, fresh food. The atmosphere is pleasant and makes it a nice place to eat.

In town on business and struggling to find something in Lakewood that's not a chain. I found this on TripAdvisor, and I'm really happy I gave it a try. It was a great meal, very fresh and not your standard Italian dishes. I had the burrata appetizer and the oven roasted salad. Both were excellent. The tapenade was a little... More

Small community feel type of place. Long tables inside, outside dining, bar counter (European feel). Wood-oven. We had the Bread Sampler and a Salad followed by the doughnut dessert, a must have. Great taste, but probably not less-filling because of the carbs we ate and the doughnut and chocolate. Yummy!

Tried the "knife and fork" sausage sandwich today with a Moretti beer...incredible! My wife had the Italian vegetable soup and a glass of Infinite Monkey Theorem Cabernet Franc (Colorado winery) both of she enjoyef greatly. Great outdoor seating in a great place - Belmar where we live and play!

We found this place online during out visit to Denver. We each had a cocktail while waiting for our pizza and salad to go. I had a white Manhattan made with Colorado White Whisky and homemade marinated cherries. My wife had a local vodka martini with rosemary infused olives. Both terrific. Our 4 meat pizza had plenty of toppings and... More

This has become one of my favorite restaurants. The pizza is thin and cooked in a wood fire oven. They offer a variety of sauces and use enough for flavor but not so much you don't taste anything else. They offer a weekly special Brioni's pie that's usually worth asking about. The desserts are delicious! I love the baked donut... More
