Wonderful food, and an excellent view!

We've dined here before when it was under a different name. It's still excellent with the same ol' view of downtown Denver. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. When we were seated to a table near the window, we asked if we could sit in a table that was next to the window (instead of... read more

Great Steak House Restaurant. The Chef cooked each steak to perfection for each person ordering. Serving sizes are huge. Servers were great and know how items are prepared. Be sure you ask for a window seat facing downtown Denver when you make your reservation. Great view at night of all the city lights. We had a party of six for... More

I ate my steak appetizer with a butter knife since I was never brought one. I paid extra for no shrimp and only steak, steak had a liver taste. I left my second appetizer untouched and never was asked if there was something wrong with it. The fried cheese bites... no body no taste no bueno! I left my cc... More

We were in town specifically for my great aunt's birthday dinner at Simms Steakhouse. The place looks amazing when you pull up to it, and they offer complementary valet. They handled the whole thing very well, first there were drinks and a couple of appetizers served on the outside deck overlooking Denver. While the scenery is gorgeous and the deck... More

We visited Simms for a birthday celebration. The food was quite good, with the steaks and lobster cooked to perfection. The only issue we had was with the creamed spinach, which was more like a salty bowl of melted cheese with some spinach added. Tasty, but better used sparingly as a sauce than as a side dish. The service was... More

Two dear friends and I went to Simms Steakhouse on July 31, 2015 to celebrate a birthday dinner. For two of us, this was the first time going to this particular restaurant and we were eager to see just how awesome it would be. The one person who had been to this restaurant before, turned out to have most of... More

We had not been in a while. The outdoor deck is the best spot, with a nice east-facing view of the city. The lower deck is preferable, as the umbrellas almost completely obscure the view from the upper deck. Service is questionable; our server was very pleasant once she finally approached the table after we had been seated for about... More

My wife and I were there on a Wednesday night for happy hour. Our server was very nice Drinks were good, but the appetizers were nothing special. We would have had a great view from the "upper patio" had it not been for the height of the umbrellas on the lower patio blocking our view.

Came here for drinks and view. Service was horrible. We were there for 10 minutes before someone noticed us, and while we only ordered drinks, our server was very slow getting to us. The view was nice, we were on the upper patio and you had to get up to really see downtown. I did love the decor and couches.... More
