Great Happy Hour with friends

We meet here a couple of times in the summer. The happy hour menu is really tasty and diverse. Drinks are reasonable, a decent wine list and an incredible view.

Lakewood is a quick15 minute drive from downtown, and worth the quick, direct drive. Valet parking. The bar area, glass stone fireplaces, attentive waitstaff really made our evening. This used to be an old famous seafood restuarant (in the 1970-80's) that slowly lost it's attractiveness/style. Since then, it was remodeled and updated to compete with downtown foodie lovers - and... More

I mostly stop by for Happy Hour with friends. Appetizers are excellent and fun. Service and food are always excellent. Views are magnificent. Sitting outside of the deck having a drink after work does not get any better.

Just had Thanksgiving buffet a few hours ago and still rushing to the bathroom at home. What a travesty, started with soup and salad and 5 minutes later was in the bathroom in agony. Stall next to mine was occupied with a man throwing up. Next visit to the bathroom they were there with a mop because another person didn't... More

The brunch used to be something to invited friends to, but the brunch has slowly become more and more disappointing. The last time it was very sad.

Went with family to celebrate birthday, Very pricey, 3 people had prime rib that was reheated on a grill, dry tasteless I had salmon, raw in middle and burned on outside, tasteless Service was slow, waiter was terrible this is the second time we have been to this restaurant and neither time was good. Will definitely not go there again

Simm's is a regular stop whether for drinks and appetizers on the deck or entertaining family, friends or co-workers over a great meal started off with the signature popover rolls and cinnamon butter! Service is always good and so is the beef - what else would you go to a steakhouse for?

Visited here when I stayed in the Sheraton nearby and had a fantastic New York strip, cooked perfectly. The waiter was very polite and helpful and they also have a good selection of drinks.

Picked this perennial favorite for a reunion dinner with senior citizen classmates from out of town who wanted a good steak dinner. We arrived quite early and explained that we hadn't seen each other for about 25 years. We were shown a quiet couch area and served some wonderful appetizers. Our server could not have been better!! (He even managed... More

Views are great, happy hour specials are a great value, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Stopped in for happy hour on a Friday a couple weeks ago. Jason, the bartender, was awesome, speedy and super friendly. The chargrilled oysters hit the spot, but the hummus was dry and mealy and the calamari was fairly flavorless. I... More
