A Lakewood "Fav" for more than 5 Decades!

Yes, not only the locals, but those who have moved away and come back to Lakewood to visit, rally around Dino's! It's just great, simple, down-to-earth GOOD Italian food, no fancy, schmancy stuff here. Their own house made Italian sausage and Spumoni ice cream are standouts. Or try their Lasagne... read more

I went with my wife and four boys. The waitress patiently answered all our questions and was extremely nice. The building and decor are showing their age but it's adequate. However, the food is great. Homemade spaghetti noodles were pretty good. Meatballs were excellent. Cheese ravioli was awesome!

Amazing. There wasn't a single table in there not enjoying their food. Now, if you are looking for Italian fusion or garden chunky sauce, whatever the new modern take on Italian is...eat elsewhere. This place is for those of us that enjoyed grandma's incredible homemade meatballs, simple homemade bread and butter, fluffy garlic toast and thick, heavy, perfectly seasoned tomato... More

Been going here since the 70's (yes, my parents took me here) good then.... and still good now. The second (maybe even the third) generation is keeping the same standards as Dino himself...... Perfection...... If there is something "not right" They will correct it...... you just have to say something at the time..... nobody can be 100%, 100% of the... More

Inexpensive and fairly typical Italian food. Owned by locals, which makes me love it even more. Pretty much everything I've tasted is delicious.

This restaurant has been in its same location since 1960, and much about it makes you feel like it is still 1960 when you are there. The red plaid tablecloths, the paper checks - the food is just ok - we had the pasta dishes, looks like the pizza might have been a better choice.

I loved the homey atmosphere. This is good, basic Italian food. Nothing fancy but very comforting. I got a salad, drink, entree and dessert all for $18. What a deal. The service was great and very friendly people. Reminds me very much of the mom and pop Italian places, back east. I enjoyed this very much.

We have been eating at Dino's for more than thirty years and it remains a favorite. We no longer live in the area but when we come back into town we look forward to a meal here. We like the lasagne and the pizza.

Dino's is a nice family restaurant with basic 'Italian' dishes (spaghetti, pizza, ravioli, etc.). Inexpensive overall (5 people, w/ 1 child) under $50. Small gluten-free menu too. Nothing to drive far, nothing to have to visit, just a good family meal spot if you're nearby. Staff was very pleasant, warm and inviting, though tired if the day shift on a... More
