We are open from late May thru late Sept. Our menu consists of pizzas (only one size - 16 inch - feeds 3-5 people), calzones, pasta, sandwiches, salads and desserts. We also have a 10" Gluten Free pizza and we have GF bread and buns for our sandwiches. For drinks, we have fountain drinks, iced tea (sweet and unsweet), beer (gluten free also), wine, fruit tea smoothies, specialty coffees and shakes. We also offer a dine-in special from 4-6 pm every day which consist of a cheese pizza and a pitcher of either beer or soda for $14.83. We have indoor seating as well as tables on the front deck and outside open dining with a great view of the mountains. As you enter, you will get a menu and be instructed to sit wherever you like and when you are ready to order, proceed to the register where you will place your order and pay at that time. You will be given an order number which will be called out once the order is ready. We prepare the food in the order that orders are taken and they are prepared fresh at that time. We do not jump tickets in order to do the easier ones or ones that take less time to prepare. We also do not have pre-prepared items. Occasionally, we will have some extra pizza slices prepared which can be bought immediately without having to wait. When we are in the busiest time of the summer season (late-June to mid-August), it is not uncommon for our customers to wait between 30 minutes to an hour for the food - just trying to be honest. The majority of our customers tell us that it is well worth the wait. We do not deliver but we take phone orders for carryout. During the same time frame mentioned above, we offer an "All You Can Eat" breakfast for $6.99 From 7:30 to 10:00. We shut breakfast down promptly at 10:00 so we can prepare for lunch which begins at 11:00. Please call to verify our closing times which vary depending on the time of the season. We also close on Sunday so we can go to church and have our day of rest. Please come by and give us a try. We would be glad to serve you.

Great staff, good food and right on Gunnison Avenue. The pizzas are immense and the toppings literally falling off.

This was the best pizza we have EVER tasted. It was absolutely perfect. The restaurant was great too, we tried it while passing through Lake City while doing Alpine Loop. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

We came through town on day 6 and mile 120 of a 30 day, 500 mile run. Our runner, exhausted and in desperate need of food was craving gluten free pancakes. (By 'we' I mean there was a support team of 6, there to support Jenny LaBaw as she runs 500 miles across Colorado). Poker Alice does not serve breakfast,... More

Nothing to write home about but there isn't much in a small town. This restaurant seems to have a lot of locals frequenting it.

We ordered a take-out pizza. Did not have to wait long to get it. Fun atmosphere. If you tipped they rang a bell and yelled. They also have outside seating.

Lake City restaurants as a whole do not have a lot of healthy food options. I was pleasantly surprised by the choices and quality of the food at Poker Alice compared to any other restaurants in the area. Because my main interest was mountain peak hiking I found the choices to be superior to even Brunos which is a very... More

We enjoyed our food, but the restaurant was so busy and chaotic. We choose to eat on the patio which was quieter. Maybe another visit would provide a better experience.

This is one of those "order your food and pick it up yourself" kind of places, which I am never fond of. And their food matched the theme. It's all just OK, although my husband thought the pizza was terrible. He is definitely not a fan, and said he would not return. Probably OK for families, as it is inexpensive... More

Not sure how to do this review so I settled on 3 stars. My kids loved the Pizza (five stars)and Calzones but my wife and I hated our sandwiches (one star). SO stick to the pizza and calzones and you will be fine
