This is one of the most all around fine dinner experiences that I have ever had. The gondola ride up the mountain at sunset was spectacular. The servers were attentive to all details. The steak, lobster, bison, and elk fondue were delicious. I would recommend this to everyone who visits the resort.

When you dinner requires two different gondolas to ascend to it location, you know you are in for something unique. Granted it was expensive, but it was about the experience more than the food. The food was adequate, the service decent, the entertainment fun, the ambience was nice, the views were speculator. The downside was you had to decent the... More

You start with skiing at keystone, as the sun sets you take a second gondola ride to the next mountain where the restaurant is. walking in you hear traditional Austrian folk music , they hang your coat and give you a mint. At the table the food was Austrian/Swsis- salad cheese fondue-Raclette (grill meat,vegi,potato)-Chocolate fondue then you dancing and talk... More

I read lots of the Tripadvisor reviews before coming here. I have 3kids ages 13, 7 and 4 and they ALL loved it. Yes it's expensive. But it's a really fun experience. My 7 year old got a little burnt because he was not paying attention And touched the hot griddle so keep an eye on them. It wasn't a... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Der Fondue Chessel. The food was all good and we left STUFFED! The staff was great and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. It is pricey! We knew this going in, so no surprises for us. The gondola ride to the top was so relaxing and beautiful!!!

Food was good, but $350 for a family meal was not worth it. Beautiful night time gondola ride up was a nice experience, but the kids were sleepy after skiing all day and falling asleep at the table. Festive atmosphere but very over-priced.

This was a good meal in a beautiful setting, but you paid big bucks for it. The people are friendly, but they try to get you coming and going-from the coat check, to drinks, to upgrading cheeses, meats, and chocolate! Crazy-you would think $60 per person would include iced tea or coffee, but nope! We all had water, to curb... More

Our family enjoyed ending our vacation to Keystone at the Der Fondue Chessel. We knew going in that it would be an expensive dining experience but one that could not be duplicated elsewhere. If you are a fondue fan you will enjoy this restaurant. The entree portion (while not fondue but raclette) was extremely filling and the bison was excellent.... More

I have been here twice. I love the atmosphere and love the fondue experience. If you have read other reviews I am just repeating what others have said. The price is high, and the food is average, but the experience is what you are going for and it is fun.

Great entertainment, but the food is not good at all. Great for the kids, but eat before you go, the food is NOT GOOD AT ALL - keystone failing again.
