My wife and I visited Ski Tip Lodge as part or a wedding reception. I am writing a review since what we eat was representative of this restaurant's menu and not an outside caterer. Everything was incredible from beginning to end. The appetizers were delicious. I was skeptical of bacon wrapped shrimp (in the South, you have one or the... More

Went back for the second year in a row. We had a great dinner. You can read about the excellent food in other reviews, but I'm going to gear mine toward the food / wine pairing. For the second time, we got the food / wine pairing. Both times, Megan, the sommelier, took over when it came to the pairing,... More

Having a vacation home nearby I frequent this gem of a restaurant whenever I get the opportunity. I am embarrassed to be writing a review of this incredible establishment for the first time, as it deserves all the accolades other writers have given it, and then some. A fixed price, four course meal the setting is an intimate b&b, the... More

My husband and I enjoyed this spot thoroughly. The appetizer soup, main courses (he had lamb, I had steak), and dessert were all perfectly executed and extremely delicious! As other have mentioned, it was a bit pricy be worth it!

Great restaurant! Outstanding food, service, and ambiance! A bit expensive, but worth it for special occasions. Romantic it is! It is a world class place. My wife and I have celebrated our birthdays there 12 of the past 15 years. After dinner have dessert in the living room next to the fireplace. Wonderful experience!

This is the finest restaurant anywhere in Colorado ski country. Chef and his kitchen staff create genius every night. But, the key to Ski Tips success is the incredible servers and sommelier. The menu changes every day, and always contains a wonderful variety, which is bound to please any serious gourmand. My wife and I were looking for a special... More

A wonderful experience. Upon entering the Lodge, you are whisked back in time to the early 1900's. Low ceilings, Rustic exposed wood. The dining room is small and inviting. Comfortable. That is where the beautiful datedness of your experience STOPS! Professional Waitstaff assist you with the menu and explain all of the wonderful, creative food that will come out of... More

Dinner for a party of five in July 2014. Service was terrific, calm and attentive. Food was creative and execution was far above average. Good beer selection.

I had heard great things about the restaurant at Ski Tip, but it was only this past week that I experienced it for myself. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything positive you read about it is likely an understatement. There is nothing I could find fault with, even if I tried. I hosted a family gathering of...
