I had heard great things about the restaurant at Ski Tip, but it was only this past week that I experienced it for myself. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything positive you read about it is likely an understatement. There is nothing I could find fault with, even if I tried. I hosted a family gathering of... We had a dinner here, while on ski vacation. It's an enchanting antique little place with interesting history - ask your host to tell you. The food was very good - contemporary American, with some Thai flare - at least at the time we were there. Main course is served in the dining room. For the desert you have an... More

The meal is prix fixe. The fees remind me of NYC prices. The food is not your average. It is above average with Elk, and creamed garlic on the menu. The service is what I expect at a fine restaurant. By moving to the fireplace for dessert, the ambiance changed from a good venue to an unusually great restaurant. The... More

This is by far the best restaurant we have visited in the Keystone area. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening out. The wine selection was great. The 5 course meal was spectacular. Desert in the library or lodge great room by the fire can't be beat. There service here is onw of a kind. Take yourself out for... More

The restaurant is in a beautiful log cabin (that is also a B&B!) with plenty of character and charm in an intimate and quiet environment. You start in the dining area and finish with desert in one of the sitting rooms next to beautiful fireplaces, wood beams and great views. Service is friendly, professional, and overall first rate. Food, oh... More

Excellent dinner and superb wine pairings at Ski Tip. Certainly rivaled (if not surpassed) Auberge in Napa and for a lot less in cost. The wine steward really worked to find excellent pairings - especially for one course which was supposed to have a sweet wine. Agreeing to my dislike of same an alternative (excellent) was found with no dithering.... More

Without a doubt, this is the best fine dining restaurant in Keystone. I have been dining here for years and they never disappoint ... the chef is amazing and Megan is wonderful with her wine pairing suggestions. Menu changes nightly, so worth a couple of visits if you can. Great value for the quality and quantity as well.

Old lodge with character. Prix fixe for a four-course dinner - which changes daily. Every course was explained knowledgeably by our server, and when asked, her advice was excellent. Water glasses filled without having to ask. We had a child with us, and they had substitutions that worked for him. My husband and I each took a different option in... More

Five of us dined at the Ski Tip Lodge during our trip to Keystone. The food was excellent, as was the service, despite some problems in the kitchen. The atmosphere is intimate and charming. The food is pretty pricey, but worth it.

Ski Tip is a very special place and our favorite by far! So much so that we got married on the back patio with view of the water and mountains behind us. The food is exceptional, and dessert by the fireplace is such a lovely way to wind down the evening. We've taken many friends here and all have enjoyed... More
