Lovely dinner in a beautiful setting.

Warm welcome upon arriving. Slippers to sink your tired feet into. Word of warning, dress warm on the gondola ride because even though blankets are provided, it is still chilly. The food, presentation, service was wonderful. Would not recommend bringing children to this restaurant. Beautiful... read more

Our dining experience was for 8 people -- 5 adults and 3 children. It started with a pampered ride in the Keystone Lodge shuttle to the entrance to the main ski-area base. A short walk through the village to the gondola and then up the mountain and a transfer to a second gondola. The views were spectacular, including sights of... More

Hard to beat - great food, beautiful views. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like special guests. The ride in the gondolas was a lot of fun, but be aware that if the weather is stormy the gondolas will not run and you'll need a back-up plan.

After the two gondola legs, which arguably in many months in Keystone will be a cold ride, you arrive in a place you won't regret or forget. Your greeted at every leg of this by one smiley faced person after another who welcome you sincerely. The menu in our party of six had the personalized name of our reservation. Our... More

My wife and I ate here for our 12th anniversary and loved it. We ordered the 7 course meal, which basically gives you the chef's pick of 7 different courses, and we enjoyed every one. Serving different wines with each course was a nice touch and the service was fantastic. Definitely pricey, but a very nice restaurant for something different... More

Very, very nice place to go. Lovely gondola ride to the rest. Food is first class and so are the prices. You go away satisfied but not stuffed. Love this place

After a long day of skiing this was the ultimate dinner destination. The greeting at the door was welcoming and homey. The slippers were warmed and the hostess takes all your ski gear. The atmosphere is romantic and so relaxing. Our 5 course meal was superb. Each course melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend.

On February 8th 2012 three skiing buddies decided to go all out and have dinner at the top of Keystone Mountain at the Apenglow Stube. The adventure began after we checked in at the base of the gondola in Keystone's River Run area. They provide each of us with a blanket and a ski pass to get on the gondola.... More

Visited the 'Stube' on 2/8/12. Our first visit was a year ago, and it pretty much blew us away. This year, we came back with friends..... and were blown away again! This is a true experience. You start by checking in at the base of Keystone mountain where they give you blankets to keep warm on the spectacular gondola ride.... More
