This was our third time at the stub. We really enjoyed it in the past and we were looking forward to the same type experience. This was not the case. After waiting thirty minutes in bar we were seated at our table. The next thirty minutes we received water that's it. Then we received first course of cavier and one... More

We had a very wonderful lunch at the Alpenglow Stube. Simply wonderful! I loved the slippers and the option of a light lunch. The gondola ride over was a huge bonus! Knowledgeable about their extensive wine list. The manager came by our table at least 3 times to make sure we were happy and we were!

This restaurant truly deserves its 4 star rating. The trip on the gondolas to the restaurant was breathtaking. The food was unique and delicious. The staff had great recommendations and were very attentive. It was a night out I won't forget and hope to be back again next year.

One cannot go wrong with the Alpenglow Stube. I must admit, my husband and I were a bit nervous being that we are not foodies. We checked out the menu online, and some of the dishes sounded a bit adventurous. Nevertheless, the restaurant sounded delightful, the experience sounded magical, and we decided that we must try it out. We decided... More

I am a foodie and we had the "degustation" meal. 7 courses. Each one was incredible. The wine selection is elite and incredibly priced. Some of the wines that we had were actually less than retail. I hope they don't read this and raise the prices as a result. My previous best meal of my life was 2002 Le Bec... More

We have talked about going to this restaurant for years and finally did last night. It was very disappointing. The filet was overcooked and not very tasty. The mashed potatoes were horribly dry. The duck was nothing to write home about. Sweet potatoes were bland. The bananas foster mousse was frozen like ice cream, not light and fluffy like mousse... More

Staff was very helpful and food was outstanding. My only complaint was the small portion size.

An absolutely exquisite and unique dining experience. The restaurant is literally at the top of the continental U.S. at almost 11,500 feet, high in the Rockies and half the fun of the experience is getting on the gondola rides. We got the 4 course meal, because 6 or 7 seems just too much. My only complaint with the prix fixe... More

Just had one of the most disappointing dining experiences in the past 30 years. We have been to the Alpenglow many times over the years with a number of excellent meals and a few decidedly average. Our most recent was beyond disappointing - we will not likely return. The evening started on a low note, when after arriving early for... More

I was fortunate to visit the Alepnglow Stube this past weekend in Keystone. The gondola ride from Keystone Village back through the mountains to this place was really incredible, even at night. It's easy to see the lights of Breckenridge from the gondola along the way and to see the snow cats grooming the trails of both Keystone and Breck.... More
