We found Haywood Cafe six years ago during out first visit to Keystone and return every year for at least one meal. This year I had the veggie omelette (for lunch) and it came with cheese grits and toast. I am from the south and really did not expect much out of the grits but they were the best I... More

My experiences with Haywood have been vaired. The food is about average as is the service. The food seems to be a bit pricey for what you get. I will say, if you want to go have a beer and watch a game, it is a great place. They have speakers for your table so you can tune in to... More

We stopped in for an early lunch when we arrived in Keystone from Denver. Since it was early lunch there were only a few tables with people. For a sports bar it was very clean; no funky smells. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. I had the fish burrito. Others in our group had the club sandwich... More

When we walked in the female "hostess" obviously was quite displeased when a group of 5 came in just before closing. Sorry, we didn't know your hours and you still had fifteen more minutes before you went home. Fortunately our male server was very very polite and friendly and seem to enjoy his job. We ordered some excellent micro beers.... More

Tried the Haywood cafe for dinner during a recent ski trip....most folks were there to watch the Broncos/Patriots game, so the place was extremely noisy (not surprisingly). Only one server, one cook and one bartender on staff during a very busy night, so though the service was friendly, it was slow and we had difficulty ordering drinks. Food was so-so... More

The "Wood" is a great local sports bar that has the greatest and most unique skiers breakfast anywhere in the mountains...from the foothills to Vail. Located on Rt 6 just before the entrance to the Keystone Resort parking lot it is easy to miss, but a must early in the morning or après ski. The place has lots of flat... More

We were able to catch the NCAA football game that we were interested in watching. The little speakers you can have at your table are very helpful! Not to mention that the food is very good! We split soup and a sandwich - great for brunch.

Their Bacon Bloody Mary I'd the best I've ever had. If you like them you have to try it at this place. We had breakfast here before our bike ride and the food was very good. I had the Porker Omelet. Tasted good but the pulled pork was a little sweet for me. The grits were creamer and very good.... More

Breakfast this morning at the Haywood. Julia was our server. I can highly recommend the bacon bloody Mary - the right amount of spiciness. I had the country fried steak and eggs. Steak portion was generous, and so tender I didn't need a knife. Wife had the eggs benedict, which came with more ham than the usual single slice you... More
