To be expected

Good food but service was slow, however that is expected on big ski weekends. It definitely hit the spot after a long day of skiing.

Had breakfast here one morning. Great breakfast food, really nice people working there. Price is just as great as the food was. I would absolutely suggest this little gem for breakfast food at least. Don't know about their other food however. Just there for the breakfast. I would think however all their food is good. The waiter was so friendly... More

We hung out in the Spoon Cafe for several hours while the skiers among us did some night skiing. Drank a bunch of $3 Keystones and had some snacks. Great service that didn't mind our loitering. Outside decks, bar and numerous TV's added great ambiance to the space. Very well done!

Just happened upon this place after some time on the mountain. Great beer selection, friendly staff. Ordered the steak fries with cheese for my daughter while my wife and I enjoyed local craft beers. Excellent! In fact, I was shocked at how great the fries were. Seriously, when you order fries at most restaurants, you don't really expect much. Not... More

I had a bowl of chili which was very good and filling - it had just the right amount of spice. I also had a fried fish wrap which was pretty good. Service was prompt and overall a good place to eat after a day of skiing.

Spoon is right across from the River Run base area. The food was excellent. Service was prompt, and overall a laid back place. On Saturday nights their front porch is a great place to have a beer while watching the Keystone fireworks show.

We stopped here for a beer and a sandwich after an afternoon of skiing. The beer is OK. The sandwich is OK. Please clean the bathroom.

Hello, we are glad you enjoyed the sandwich and beer. Regarding the bathroom we have a single stall bathroom that is used frequently. We also have the issue of over-use/abuse of our facilities by non-customers because we are so close to the gondola. We have installed a seat cover dispenser as another way, besides our hourly bathroom checks, to try... More

We went to the Spoon twice, and Justin was our waiter both times. He was awesome, and very attentive! We had the tomato basil soup and chili-both were very good!! The second time we sat at the bar, and had great local beer! The place was packed, but Justin never forgot about us. This place has the best bloody mary... More

The sandwiches were very good; I really like the tuna melt. The tomato basil soup was a little bland. Staff was friendly and attentive.
