Service was wonderful, warm and friendly. The Manager himself even came by to see how things were. Got to talking to him about the on-site microbrewery. Big surprise, right after we ate a scrumptious and thick, delicious bison burger with all the trimmings, the manager offered us a tour, with the Head Brewmaster, of the brewery, right to the bottling... Visited here with a family group of 8. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The waiter thought the food was taking a bit long and came over and apologized. The food was worth the wait. My wife enjoyed her soup but her chicken sandwich had a bit too much garlic in it. She was still happy. The fries were... More

We don't go to Tommyknocker every time we pass through Idaho Springs because it is a bit pricey for a family of 5. But...when we do get to go, it is a real treat! It isn't fair to go and skimp. We drink water almost all the time but when we stop, we enjoy trying out the home made soda... More

We stopped by to enjoy a nice beer while out touring the area. They have a great selection of beers and ales all crafted on the premises and at a good price. I have never eaten there, but the menu looked interesting. It's well worth a visit if you enjoy craft beer.

We drove to Aspen during our most recent trip to Colorado and decided to stop at the Tommyknocker Brewery for dinner. The brewery is in the downtown area. Parking is very scarce as the downtown was quite busy. The brewery was quite busy but we were seated immediately. Tommyknockers has a wide selection of sandwiches with burgers being their specialty.... More

The food isn't bad. It is a brewery that serves bar food favorites. There are both buffalo and beef burger options (plus other items). The sweet potato tater tots (not sure the name of them) were really cute and tasty. The reason we went is simple--location. It is the first restaurant on the street when headed east. Waitstaff come and... More

Cool atmosphere. Very busy place. Wonderful root beer. Brother said Bison burgers average. I ordered the "breuben" which was their version of a Reuben. It was average . Idaho springs however is a lovely town.

We stopped by Tommyknocker on our way back from the mountains. We split some appetizers that were delicious, specifically the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers! Beer selection was outstanding. I highly recommend the pumpkin beer. We had great service and an overall great experience.

Lovely local Brew Pub with a great variety of craft beers. We got the beer sampler and enjoyed the different varieties. Food was good comfort style pub fare, and all of our entrees arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. We had a server named Daniel who was without a doubt the best server I have had in quite some time (and... More

This brewery feautres thier own in house brews and rootbeer which is particularly good. For beer try the maple brown. Their chicken wings look expensive on the menu but they are incredible and look like they came off of a dinosaur, that is how huge they are. Also the green chilli is always a good choice. Its a fantastic way... More
