Wheat: It's what's for brunch

I've seen their beer in stores in Dallas, so since I made a little out-of-the-way trek on my way to Central City to sample some fresh from the tap. Just a few right turns off the 240 exit, there is plenty of parking behind Beau Jo's. I got there around 11:15, so no crowd yet. Greeted warmly at... read more

This is a excellent location , that being Idaho Springs! On the weekends the town is overwhelmed with tourists and Denver peoples so this brew and restaurant is ideally suited for the discerning customer! 5☆☆☆☆☆!!!

Meeting a niece and her husband for supper, looking for good beer and good food. We got here about 5 PM on a Friday, had a drink at the bar before looking for a table. We had now drifted into the dinner rush, but they managed to find us a table for 4. The place is loud, but the staff... More

The beer was good and we enjoyed seeing where it was made as we ate. The food was so good! The bacon burger had a ton of bacon on it and the veggie pita wrap was delicious!! The service was good. I would highly recommend stopping by for some lunch and a couple beers!

My wife and I like to stop here for lunch when driving out of Denver into the mountains for vacation. The restaurant/pub shares space with the brewery, and you'll likely see the brewmaster working away mashing grain and the like while you eat. The quality of the beer is excellent, and the food is good as well. Try the buffalo... More

Great award winning brewery with delicious bar food. We started with the jalapeño poppers. My husband had the Reuben and I split chicken fingers with my son. Both were very satisfied with our meals. The service was good. They got a little busy as our lunch went on, but the waitress was still pretty attentive. Tons of craft options for... More

The bar had 6 people wandering behind it. They fell apart due to the taps not working. I waited AT the bar for over 12 minutes for sure. Likely 15 total. The main female tender threatened to leave if someone (she said the name) didn't come and help her. I don't mind waiting if there is a reason. There were... More

To be fair, I only ordered the berry and nut salad which was good. I had the fruity flavor beer to accompany it. Maybe it was just too sweet together with the salad. Waitress was attentive. The rest of our party liked the place, the food was ok. Next time I'd like to try The Buffalo in town when that... More

Good food. Everyone with me liked the beer. They tried several different kinds. They had good mixed drinks. Good bar food. We had a really good waiter. Would definitely go back.

We thought this place was just okay. Food was good and service too. The beer, well, we had two different ones and one was good and the other really bad. We had to wait for a table for about 25 minutes when told it would be a 10 minute wait. Front desk staff seemed frazzled with all the people. It... More
