Great atmosphere and service - we'll be back!

We stopped in for lunch with friends - 11 of us total. Melody served us and was fantastic! Attentive but not hovering, prompt to get what we needed, friendly, remembered all our orders. All the things that make a server outstanding. Our fellow diners were satisfied with their meals and the... read more

Great food, great beer, snotty staff. Our waitress was visibly annoyed with us while ordering, and didn't get my order right (on purpose?). Also got attitude when we bought beer to go. Both myself and my 32 year old partner with gray hair got carded even though he was the buyer (not me), and we hadn't been carded during our... More

We have eaten here sever times. The beer is good and there is a wide variety for all tastes. The food is very good for this type of establishment. The service has been good each visit.

I try new beers in Colorado brewpubs every chance I get. The Pine Bough Pale Ale was my favorite at Tommyknockers. It's made with real pine cones, says the waitress. Sure enough, I could taste a hint of it and liked it. No sap on the glass either. The restaurant has a great menu to choose from. Great mountain town... More

If you enjoy pub food and good beer, check out this place! It can get busy, it's a popular stop with the ski crowd heading back to Denver after a day on the slopes. Not into IPAs and porters? They have a GREAT root beer! Adults should try a root beer with a shot of vanilla vodka for a wonderful... More

Stopped by on a gorgeous Colorado Saturday for beer and food. It was a great surprise. The food was great the beer even better. The place was hopping and there was a wait however it wasn't very long and we had a table. We tried their beer cheese soup and it was one of the thickest I've ever eaten good... More

We stopped here on the way back from a day of snow-mobiling and am I glad we did! Our first time here. The atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing. The ciders were great! The menu was big and had a lot of variety. My absolute favorite item was the chips and queso. Being from Texas and used to Tex-Mex cuisine, I... More

Stopped in for lunch and a cold brew. Ordered a burger and chose the Colorado Elk. I must say the flavor was amazing and what a treat. Topped off with some fresh jalapenos, cheddar cheese, bacon and barbecue sauce. One of the best burgers I had in awhile. Went with the sweet potato nuggets "tater tots" - delish. Hop Strike... More

I stopped there after a snow shoeing trip while waiting for the traffic to clear on I70. The Idaho Springs parking lot was just a few blocks away so access was easy. The bar was fairly crowded, but some seats opened up after a short wait. There was a very good stout on draft, and they had fish and chips... More

Good variety of American Casual dining, supplemented by a nice variety of beers. Unusual ambiance ... during our meal, staff were tending to the brewing operations going on along the opposite wall. What would one expect in a brew pub? It was interesting to watch, kind of like a floor show ...hops, not hip-hop.. My sons ordered samplers of the... More
