This is Colorado......

Stop by, eat and drink, instead of sitting in traffic on I70 after whatever adventure you've been doing further up in the mountains. Just visited after skiing MAY 1, 2015 on a 68" base and 54 degrees at Loveland Ski Area! Eat in the bar. The smell of whatever beers are brewing will whet you... read more

Stopped here after rafting Clearwater Creek. Excellent hospitality knowledgeable waiter could excellent recommendations. The food was flavorful, well prepared and served hot. We sampled a few of their own brews and enjoyed them all. I was partial to their dark and higher proof content. The buffalo burger with an egg on top was juicy and full on flavor. Others at the... We went to Tommyknockers for the beer (not that watered down "light" stuff), so we didn't eat. But all the food we saw at the tables looked great. We love good beer and wanted to try theirs. We weren't disappointed and tried a couple of the nut browns. Very smooth and very well brewed.

Good pub food. Good beer. Looooove the house draft root beer. Try the patty melt or the bbq duck sandwich. Yum!! Great stop after rafting.

Was the first time I have had elk, i think, and the burger was great, the flavor of medium rare, the bleu cheese, sweet potato tots! It was a great stop over on a long road trip across Colorado, and i would return!

Great beer, great food! We had the chicken sandwich with blue cheese and wing sauce on it and the hamburger with their homemade green chili on it. The green chili had just enough spice to wake up your mouth without being too hot. Both came with tons of french fries. We had the same thing both days because we liked... More

Only had soup, appetizers, salad and beer, as we weren't all that hungry. Nuts & berries salad was a little disappointing (too much apple slices, not enough of everything else), but soups and appetizers were very good, as were the beers brewed on-site. Somewhat pricey given what we ordered, but it was a splurge night out for us. Service was... More

I just had soup and a salad and neither was anything I would order again. This was my first time eating there and I would probably go back for some beer and appetizers. We were looking for a brewery and the beer was good.

There are a lot of good places to eat in Idaho Springs but Tommyknocker seems to have become a favorite place for the family. We had been in the car traveling for over 5 hours and needed a break. We stopped to eat and the family chose Tommyknocker's....again. Well, the food was good, as usual, and the staff was good... More

Heading back from a day of skiing in Summit County? You can't do better than Tommyknockers. The wings, the beer, the ambiance of Idaho Springs, all combine to make it the perfect post skiing pit stop. The drive back from Summit can be arduous to say the least but Tommyknockers is nicely located between Denver/ Boulder and Summit county. I... More
