We had a group of 21 and they had no problems accommodating us in their two story location! The Salad Bar is fun (in claw-foot tub). Pizza was a hit with all ages (Age 4-40's). Famous honey dipping crust was a nice dessert for the large crew without breaking the bank. We did make reservations, but only a half-hour in... More

We went to Beau Jo's after seeing them featured on Man vs Food. We got the meatball prairie pie and absolutely loved it. We've been to another location as well and the mountain pie is just as good, all depending on how thick you like your pizza. The location in Idaho Springs is beautiful, the location very rustic and has... More

We drove from Denver to go to Beau Jo's and it was worth the drive. The pizza did not disappoint. They offer three main varieties of pizza; Mountain Pies (thicker crust with a hand rolled edge) Prairie Pies (thinner crust) ,and Gluten Free Pies. We had a prairie pie. The crust was crusty on the bottom and tender on top.... More

There was about a 20 minute wait when we were there. Easy place to meet someone since it's a regional landmark of sorts. Large parking lot in back. Server was prompt and friendly. Pizza was good.

Amazing food every time we are there as well as amazing staff. Help your self to one of the sticks about eating there.

We went up on a Sunday afternoon recently. There was a 10 to 15 min wait. That was OK, but after we were seated, it took 15 minutes to place our order, then after we waited a half an hour, the waiter told us that the kitchen was running 45 minutes behind. We were told that they had expanded to... More

My Colorado friends brought me to this special restaurant and I am very grateful. Thankfully, we had just finished a very strenuous hike so we felt we had earned a substantial meal. We shared a veggie pizza with garlic rather than tomato sauce as well as a meat pizza. Both were outstanding. The main part of the crust was thin,... More

This is the second time being on vacation in Colorado where we specifically stopped here for pizza. Yes, it's a bit expensive but it is an excellent pizza. We got the ham, bacon and pineapple, mountain crust, 3 lb pizza which was the perfect amount for myself, my wife and 2 boys (9 and 5). I look forward to the... More

Fyi-pizza is pretty good and extremely unique however kids might not be big fans. This place was packed to the gills and is a must see, however be prepared that it is fairly expensive "for pizza"...but what isn't expensive on vacation.

We ordered a turkey pepperoni, onion pizza with basil pesto sauce (instead of red sauce) on a thin whole wheat crust. All I can say is...I wanted to order several after tasting the first bite. Absolutely delicious.
