Stopped in here after hiking Bierstadt, Sawtooth, Evans and brought our appetites, ordered the vegan nachos and built our own pie. The nachos were big, didn't finish them all. They did hold back a bit on the toppings. Pizza was good, plenty of toppings to choose from. The price can add up quick, so choose toppings wisely. I wasn't a... More

This is our normal stop when we visit Colorado for softball tournaments. No matter how far we are in Colorado we normally take a day off and head for the mountains to White Water raft and eat at beau Jo's. They were incredibly busy, but we got a table immediately. Service was excellent and the food was great. We highly... More

BeauJo's has been a favorite of mine for years, although I hadn't been in over a decade. A recent return to the restaurant found it much expanded (3 large dining rooms) but just as friendly and inviting as I remembered. BJ's has a huge menu, so I recommend you get a beverage and take your time ordering. They've got salads,... More

This is good pizza! There are two styles of 'za here: the mountain style - which has a much thicker crust and the prairie style - which is a flatter crust. I was here with my family for lunch and we were thinking thinner crust, but the mountain style looked pretty good! \ Either way, you get a bear-bottle of... More

We went to Idaho Springs while staying in Golden specifically to eat at Beau Jo's. We arrived at about 12:45 PM on a Sat. afternoon and it was pretty busy. 30-minute wait to get a table, then they told us it'd be another 30-40 minutes for the pizza. The pizza actually came out in 15-20 min., so that was good.... More

The place is huge and interesting. We ordered the veg pie and salad bar. Both were wonderful. I would highly recommend a stop here.

We had stopped here after white water rafting, so we had worked up an appetite. Our group of 6 ordered a large deep dish, and a small thin crust specialty pizza, and a chicken salad for 1 of us. We didn't expect to eat it all, but it as delish. I requested a side of marinara sauce, and dipped the... More

The service was very friendly and the pizza was very good. We also had the salad bar and chicken wings which were adequate. If in the area, we would go back again. First time we had honey on the pizza crust.

I believe this place is ranked no. 1 in Colorado for pizza and it has been featured on the Travel Channel as having truly outstanding pizza. As such, I dragged my wife here even though she really wasn't hungry for pizza because I told her it would be totally spectacular based on what I have read and heard about this... More

This is my second stop on the way to Palisade Colorado and my choice for a late lunch could not be better. The Pizza is great, quite a variety and what I have tried so far... delicious. Looking forward to my next stop through this little town for some yummy pizza.
