Don't miss this place!

The candies here are decadent. The gelato is delicious. The one thing you cannot miss are the homemade peanut butter cups! She even makes her own peanut butter! My husband and I are obsessed with them. They are literally the best thing you will ever taste...ever.

I loved the little shop but we wanted to get a little something. We chose the dark chocolate covered toffee. We thought it was a good choice until we tried it. Burnt to a crisp. You could even smell how burnt it was. So disappointing.

Take a moment to stop at Miner Decadence Chocolates. The generous owner will give you tiny tastes of her homemade gelato - including chai chocolate chip, mocha, and other delicious flavors. But don't leave without a pecan turtle. Milk or dark chocolate, the caramel is homemade gooey goodness, well worth the $2.50 as the perfectly blended flavors combine with the... More

Do not miss coming here when you're in town. This woman is a goddess. She has REAL Belgian chocolate and real Gelato. She makes fudge, covered candies and pretzels in regular, dark and white chocolates. Try Chai icecream, it is to die for. The triple berry Gelato is delicious but rich, so rich. She also makes her own caramel, try it... More

The owner is very knowledge in the making of chocolate. She has on display the chocolate pods. She also talked about the amount of actual chocolate used in the making of her candies .

Based on other reviews I expected fabulous treats with fabulous customer service. I appreciate handmade caramel, marshmallow and chocolates, but not enough to pay such a price. The chocolates tasted good and the service was below expectations. I walked in and told the gal behind the counter we stopped by since we found her on the internet with high ratings.... More

Nice selection of chocolates...but we went for the gelato...which was wonderful! My only complaint is that as a disabled person it was a little cramped for maneuvering my scooter. But it was manageable.

After an initial ice cream disaster at another spot, we asked a local for a recommendation and ended up here. Yum! This seemed to be more of a homemade gelato but it was delicious and there were lots of flavors. I enjoyed every bite and you should because it is $3+ for a small single scoop. Definitely a treat to... More

Thanks so much to the owner for producing some of the best chocolates, caramel and brittle we have ever had. Really, it rivals the Belgian chocolate we have eaten in Europe! Please, please do not stop making your sweets. The only issue is my husband wants to visit Idaho Springs every weekend not to eat your sweets. We are partial... More

We live in town and stop here every so often to get some delicious chocolates. The pecan turtles are our favorite! This place makes their own caramel and it makes a huge difference in the taste. The owner is usually at the store and can provide all kinds of information about the products she makes.
