Delightful & Tasty

I've only had the dinner salads but they are superior, especially with added fish! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place for its unique and very well prepared/presented dishes. This is a hidden, little known bright spot in Highlands Ranch.

Tried to get a reservation via Open Table but was in their Two Hour window. So I called and spoke with a very accommodating young man. He gave me my choice of seating times. Upon arrival was were seated immediately. Water arrived quickly and the same with our waitress. She was friendly and menu knowledgeable. Our wine and cocktails were... More

Food and service were both done well and the menu had a good mix of American date with unique twists. Great place to hang with friends on the patio.

We found a Groupon for a three course meal at OBL and went for after-work dinner. It had a choice of app, so we shared a fried avocado. It was delicious and great to split. Our entrees were good also and well-prepared. Service was great and dessert was okay, but not special. It was a good date night meal made... More

We showed up for happy hour and there was only one other couple besides us present. The specials were decent and we went with a few apps that came out very quickly by very attentive and pleasant runners. The Diablo Eggs were okay but the Taquitos were horrible and tasted like cardboard. Costco has better in their frozen isle. The... More

Had a wonderful dinner at Old Blinking Light last night. Took a little while to get seated...but the place was busy at 6:45. Received water quickly, and the waitress arrived soon after. Drinks and appetizers ordered. Mussels and black pepper kettle chips were ordered and quickly consumed by the six of us. Both very good. The red broth from the... More

Old Blinking Light's menu made it very difficult to choose. I ended up getting the duck tacos - good choice, although the portion size was on the small side. The restaurant has an interesting interior that is kind of... well, "industrially cozy," perhaps? Looking up, it seems almost as if you're in a factory, but it's still a comfortable setting.... ..but the drinks are yummy! Yes I came here with friends, and enjoyed their "Happy Hour" which has a great selection to choose from! My friends had the Truffle Fries which they stated, "are to die for" but I'm not a fan of Truffles. The place does get pretty busy, so stake your claim when you want to! I wasn't... More

We hadn't been here for a while, but recently tried it again. The menu is better, a lot of choices all very fresh. Had the smothered burger ( chicken) with both the red and green on the side, the red tasted like enchilada sauce. I preferred the green. The fries were too good...next time had the pork sandwich, it was... More

Old Blinking Light has improved over the years. The atmosphere is subdued and modern. The wine list and menu offer many choices. This restrurant is great for adults, couple, girls night and celebrations. In Highland Ranch you will see families with young children are welcome everywhere.
