Surprise

Came here for a quick early dinner as we were car shopping close by. Was totally surprised as the place was packed (you need a reservation!) and was also surprised how good the quality of the food was. Will see that I can come back

Our experiences at the OBL have been consistently terrific. The menu offers a variety for everyone and the young people that run this place are energetic, positive and very professional. The bar personnel are friendly and contribute to an ambiance that is fun, upbeat and friendly . You can't do better than to join the crowd at the OBL

In the town center, a bar restaurant with outdoor seating is just a nice place to go. Locals come regularly. Happy hour is a great deal at 1/2 price menu. You can leave spending under $20 and know you had a great meal and a few drinks while meeting up with friends after work. Lots of parking in the rear.... More

I have been here twice in May. Mother's Day was a no brainier to make reservations. I was also there at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday and the only seating they had was in the bar area. Obviously it was worth the return trip, they are more expensive entrees, but given the area and the quality of food, it is... More

Second visit to the Blinking Light. The first was a negative experience, and the second wasn't much better. Ordered a salad and when it came to the table it was mostly lettuce with little dressing and worse yet not much in the way of additions, The chicken was dry and hard and will stay with me a few days, This... Stopped for Saturday evening dinner. Our waiter was friendly, efficient, and very kind to let us sample a sauce we weren't sure about. He helped us make food choices when we asked and was attentive to refills and whether our meals were satisfactory. I was very happy to see healthy sides and choices on the menu. Not all carbs and... There are so few nice restaurants in HR. They need to update their menu, overhaul the waitstaff (blonde with chin length hair & nails on a chalk board voice, needs to GO) She has messed up 6 orders now & our friend group requests any section but hers. Best thing on the menu? Calabacitas. (chopped veggies) Overhaul your menu. Yawn,... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time, it was around 5 pm on a Saturday. I read many fairly positive reviews, and lots of mentions about the Chef at O.B.L., and was so looking forward to this, as it was my birthday and someone had graciously given me a gift certificate! When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted. The... More

Our evening at OBL was good, but not great. The staff was friendly. The service was very good. The food was average. I got the bacon wrapped buffalo meatloaf. The meat didn't have much flavor and I would have preferred it seared. It was a little mushy. The mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor, either. I found myself eating the... More
