I have been reading all the reviews but we have only had good food and service. My husband loves the steak and I had the butternut squash soup twice-its delicious. I tried the trout the last time and it was very good-cooked right and tasty. I also enjoyed the pomegranate martini-delightful. And we have always had very nice servers. We... More

We were very pleased & surprised with our visit to OBL. The menu was filled with great dishes. Our choices were delicious. Nice atmosphere & good service. Certainly one of the pricier options for a neighborhood restaurant, but a nice change from the usual "every town" chain restaurants. We will be back.

Food was cold and the server was too busy taking care of other customers to take care of our table. Manager was nice to not charge me for the small portion of the meal I ate. I believe things would have been better if the server would stay long enough at the table to hear our concerns.

I finally had the privilege of dining at the OBL early this evening for dinner with my mom. I will start off by saying that anything negative I mention below is totally nitpicky, because we LOVED our dining experience here and will return next time we are in the neighborhood. At first I wasn't sure about the prices because I... More

I had a chat with the manager on August 30, 2014. Wanted to ask him why so much Selenite everywhere? I thought it was a brilliant idea and said so. I was saying that keeping that crystal out in the rain may not be a good thing, but it was nice. And he explained its been like that for over... More

Food was average. Fish and chips tough. Pizza soggy. Margaritas weak. Seating awkward. Ambience not to bad. Not too pricey.

Old Blinking Light used to be a place I enjoyed going to from time to time, but lately both food and service have been in decline. This place needs a kick in the pants. Perhaps a change of management, if not chef as well, would do it good.

The service here needs work. My girlfriend from England loves American root beer. They forgot to bring it. The crusted salmon was excellent, but a bit pricy at $22. An OK place, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I would go back. Don't go there if you are in a hurry. There was hardly anyone there for... More

Food was excellent and our waitress was friendly and helpful, making frequent checks on our party of 7 with 3 of those children under 10. I had the Ahi Tuna sandwich with Sweet Potato fries - EXCELLENT. We had the Chips/Salsa/Guac/Cheese Dip appetizer - SPICY salsa, chips were thick, not thin and crispy - but good. Several in our group... More

The food used to be wonderful. Had the Pasole last Saturday and it was horrible. No flavor whatsoever. The chicken nachos tonight were equally as terrible. Both of these items used to be great. New chef? Get rid of him!
